VICO DURAZZO APARTMENT

Sergio was an amazing host. He met us on arrival and explained everything. The air-conditioning is strong, the apartment is beautifully renovated and in good order. We loved the space and access to a washing machine. Access to the stations, centro historico, museums and restaurants was easy, and there's plenty to choose from nearby.

I would suggest to Bring your own shampoo, conditioner and body wash as what is supplied is small and generic and may not suit everyone. The area, like many in Genoa can be a little dirty and tough around the edges. For us it was not an issue, and noone loitering nearby gave us any trouble, but for some, it could be uncomfortable. This is in no way a reflection on the property though.

Normal apartments.

There is not view from any of 2 windows. Probably that’s typical in Genova old town but still, the advertising photo shows a bit unrealistic view from the apartment.

The design of apartment is fantastic, blending modern amenities with classic architecture., all in all a good place to stay. Host is nice, facilities are good!

- The location is quite central , easy to go everywhere - just that it connect to some alleys nearby where we personally did not feel safe. - the AC in the bedroom is quite loud and not as efficient as the one in living room

Superb for access to main station making access to train for all the fabulous beach towns and villages nearby and of course getting to and from your next main destination Stick to the Main Street to get to apartment rather than the narrower street which is a tad eery. Very friendly host Sergio Loved all the extras in kitchen which were appreciated. Only 1 min from the one of the famous Villas 5 min stroll to historic centre Carrefour 5 mins Brilliant restaurant by submarine 5 min walk Great value and deffo worth consideration

The narrow alleyways where it’s located can be intimidating for some I think It’s very dark in the apartment as in traditional high sided narrow walkway so you feel a bit like a mole 😂
