We really liked Beverly and would have really liked this property if the housekeeper/Cleaner did her job properly

Good standard of accomodation except kitchen- in need of refurb, peeling cabinets and poor lighting

The property was not properly cleaned. Crockery removed from the cupboards was dirty and had to be washed before use. There was no corkscrew leaving us celebrating a 50th birthday on the first evening without wine. There were also broken utensils and broken crockery in the kitchen. Poor lighting in the kitchen-the under units lighting all appeared to have been removed. Throughout the property lightbulbs were either not working or had not been replaced-the lamp in the hall did not work, there were several spotlights not working in the kitchen and the small light on the fireplace did not work. Also, the fireplace was not working. Something that is clearly known to the host having regard to prior reviews I have noticed. The bathroom floor was also dirty.

Great location and nice size of home.

Quiet neighborhood, lots of room. We appreciated the washer and dryer. The sun room was wonderful to watch the sun come up with a cup of tea.

The fireplace, unfortunately, was not working. The kitchen sink was full of food bits.

Enjoyable home from home comfort.

Very comfortable, nice to relax and catch up with family living in the area. Lovely garden and quiet street. Good proximity to town and walking distance to supermarket. Will stay again. Good size bedrooms, comfortable beds, lovely fireplace. Good serviceable kitchen with everything needed to make nice home cooked meals

The property was beautiful but the fire was broken and there was heating was not working.

The fact that there was no fire or heating working. I got some batteries for the hive thermostat like the landlord had suggested but the heating still did not work. We had to sit in the property with quilts wrapped around us because we were freezing and we ended up coming back home with a chill.

Lovely spot for a visit to Beverly.

This bungalow is in a perfect spot for a visit to the lovely town of Beverly. A nice quiet residential area, but within a 15 minute walk, you're in the town centre. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and is very well equipped, the garden was fully enclosed, which was a real bonus for our dog. Erin was on hand with good communication and was a great host. If I was to visit again, we wouldn't hesitate to use the place again.

The only negative regarding the property was that the kitchen cupboard doors and trims aren't in the best condition due to the coating coming away, so could do with replacing.

Quiet position. Easy walking distance to Minster and all amenities. Spacious accommodation. Good location. Well stocked with items such as tea, coffee, shampoo, etc. The beds were very comfortable.

Having to step into the bath for a shower with no anti-slip shower mat or hand rail. ( I actually slipped whilst stepping over the side of the bath, to get under the shower and very slightly injured a finger whilst arresting my slip.)

The property, 10 The Whinns in Beverley Yorkshire, was absolutely exceptional, superb standard of decor, utilities, comfort, nothing overlooked or missing, excellently maintained throughout, and we are genuinely sorry to leave, which we rarely say! 10/10, flawless house, keep on doing what you're doing!

Better equipment in kitchen no coffee press only enough plates cups fir one each and only 5 forks for 6 people . Drive was too narrow for our van . Unclear where to put general rubbish

It suited our group well for a couple of nights and was quiet with lots of space.

Overall it’s a bit tired, with peeling surfaces in the kitchen and a broken rear step. Cleaning could be better, with obvious cobwebs in a few places.

Great place!

The bungalow was beautiful and spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable. The facilities were great, with just about you need. In a quite location and only a 15 minute leisurely walk to the town centre.

The window lock catches didn't work and therefore they open wide and being on the ground floor the windows should be able to be locked in place when opened.

A fine place to stay

Great location for us. Easy to get to. Driveway parking. Quiet residential location on the edge of town (though there does seem to be a lot of development going on over the hedge). Well furnished. Tastefully decorated. Comfortable and spotlessly clean. We travel to the area several times a year and are always on the look-out for new places to stay. This is definitely on our list now

Comfortable and well appointed bungalow conveniently located for access to Beverley and surrounding areas.

Comfortable, spacious and nicely furnished bungalow. Hosts were very pleasant and responded quickly to enquiries. Good parking. Just 2 or 3 minutes drive into Beverley town centre.

The fireplace wasn’t working when we stayed. This wasn’t a problem, but we stayed in early February so it would have been nice to enjoy the warmth of the fire while relaxing in the nicely furnished living room.

A well presented, comfortable and spacious bungalow

Lovely spacious and comfortable bungalow. Fully enclosed garden and hard flooring throughout perfect for us who have dogs easy to clean.

My only observation is the bungalow has 3 bedrooms but there is only one 3 seater settee in the lounge which isn’t sufficient seating if you have a family of four or more staying. For us as a couple it wasn’t a problem.

Excellent property

Excellent warm and comfortable property close to the sanctuary town of Beverley. The house comes with towels, linen and tv with Netflix along with great kitchen and bathroom facilities. The house is within a 15 minute walk or 5 minute drive to Beverley and the train to Hull takes about 15 minutes from Beverley, Beverley and Hull are well worth a visit.

Although beautifully decorated property, feel overpriced.

Self catered so breakfast n/a. The property styled beautifully. Good that tea, coffee and sugar provided.

The bed was uncomfortable. The leather settee in lounge is very deep. Ok for tall people but those with short legs - found it too deep. Insufficient cushions so backache after sitting 🙁 Appreciate that cleaning costs but feel property overpriced.

Very quiet location in a lovely cul de sac. Near all shops, restaurants. Lovely bungalow, home from home. Very comfy beds, had everything we needed. Excellent communication with the owner. Would highly recommended this property.

Short stay

The decor on this home is absolutely lovely, its so clean and welcoming. The property has everything you need and the espresso machine is a fantastic touch. We had a slight issue but Erin was easy contactable and got it sorted straight away which was brilliant.

Fab place, comfy and homely and very clean in a great location and peaceful cul-de-sac

Loved the location our youngest daughter lives near the beck so this was a great location for us whilst being a pleasant walk into town. The bungalow is a great size and had everything we needed for a family get together and exploring Beverley. The amenities in the property were great too we would defo use it again!

The heating was switched on when we arrived and the thermostat proved a bit confusing to use it was set at a low temp but the actual temp was much higher. We managed to turn the boiler off it would be helpful for future guests for a guide to hand. Think it was more noticeable because it’s summer and wasn’t that big an issue that we needed to bother Erin with.
