Very convenient if you’re looking for a short stay to move in or out of Ilha Grande. The hostel is indeed located in walking distance of both the pier and the bus station. A supermarket is located next door and the facilities are good, clean and comfortable.

we spent 2 nights at vallen's hotel, it was perfect! it is located in the center, 2 steps from the sea. Felipe is welcoming, warm, you can count on him to brighten up your stay! Fully equipped, washing machine, dryer, comfortable beds, spacious showers. If you are traveling from the other side of the world, this is the perfect place to recharge the batteries and start afresh. It feels like home! We know where to sleep when we return!

I never leave reviews but my stay at this hostel was so exceptionally nice that I felt like it I had let people know. The owner is super welcoming and really did his best to make you feel at home. He provided towels, offered something to drink and when I asked where to find a cheap restaurant, he brought me and some other guest to one. Definitely recommend staying here!

Estadia excepcional!

A localização do hostel é ótima, fica a cerca de 10 minutos do Cais Santa Luzia, local de onde saem os passeios de lancha e escuna. Além disso, há um mercado ao lado do hostel. Os ambientes e lençóis estavam limpos. A cama é confortável e a cozinha bem equipada. Tem um armário no quarto em que é possível guardas os pertences. Eu diria que o diferencial é a hospitalidade do anfitrião. Filipe é muito comunicativo, deu dicas de praias e esteve sempre preocupado em proporcionar uma boa estadia aos hóspedes. Com certeza voltaria a me hospedar!

Praticidade, limpeza e conforto se tratando de um Hostel. Desde a cama até mesmo os lugares compartilhados, banheiros e cozinha! Tudo completo, ar condicionado e Wi-Fi. Fui muito bem recepcionada pelo anfitrião que manteve uma ótima comunicação desde o primeiro contato da reserva e sempre disposto a ajudar e melhorar no que é preciso! Lugar bem localizado.. perto ao cais, ao lado de supermercado e demais comércios. Para quem quer conhecer Angra dos Reis de forma prática e tranquila. Recomendo! A casa é muito bonita e confortável, além de ser bem equipada de eletrodomésticos e utensílios. O Filipe é um excelente Anfitrião, muito atencioso, e faz uma excelente dupla com o caramelo john. Os quartos possuem ar condicionado e armários, o que torna a estadia ainda mais completa. Recomendo a todos pelo bom custo benefício, e atendimento. Um excelente ponto de descanso em Angra dos Reis, para quem está de passagem para ir a Ilha Grande, ou pra quem vai explorar a região de Angra, fazer passeios e etc.

Acolhimento e praticidade definem a estadia no Valens.

O Valens é incrível! Começando pela localização. Ele fica na frente do Cais Santa Luzia, onde se embarca pra Ilha Grande. Você caminha e em poucos minutos conhece o centro histórico de Angra. E ao lado tem um supermercado com preços super acessíveis, que fica aberto até 22h. E tem a hospitalidade do Felipi, o anfitrião, gente boa, dá todas as dicas da cidade de Angra e Ilha Grande. Comunicativo, ele entrou em contato no primeiro minuto que fiz a reserva, me mandou a localização e me aguardou chegar. É prestativo, sempre disposto a ajudar os hóspede, trata todos com muita educação e cordialidade, além de sempre oferecer um cafezinho. O Valens tem muitas comodidades que fazem o seu diferencial. Ar condicionado nos quartos. O colchão tem muita qualidade e é muito bom de dormir. Os quartos tem poucas camas, o que é legal já que não ficam muitos hospedes no mesmo quarto. Banheiros espaçosos. Cozinha equipada. Além de ser muito limpo e organizado. As toalhas, lençóis e até os panos de prato são muito limpos e cheirosos. A limpeza dos banheiros, quartos e áreas comuns são impecáveis. Acolhimento e praticidade definem a estadia no Valens.

Buen lugar

El lugar es cómodo, limpio, agradable. Había una manta abrigadora para la cama. Que fue maravillosa ya que hacía frío. La cocina es mejor que lo común en Hostel, motiva a cocinar. La habitación sólo tiene 4 camas y hay estantes para dejar las cosas personales. Y los sofás en espacios comunes son cómodos. La noche que estuve sólo hubo un huésped más y fue muy agradable el anfitrión, compartimos los tres y eso ha quedado como un buen recuerdo de mi viaje.

A limpeza é impecável. De todos os ambientes. A cozinha é uma gracinha: toda equipada e higienizada. Há um supermercado ao lado, o que facilita muito, já que não há serviço de café da manhã. O anfitrião é muito educado, respeitoso e nos deixa à vontade.

O quarto compartilhado é um pouco apertado, mas nada que atrapalhe o descanso.

Um lugar de aconchego, carinho e atenção

O atendimento é o grande diferencial do Hostel. Não é apenas um espaço para receber pessoas, mas , sobretudo um aconchego, um abraço para que estas sintam-se acolhidas, cuidadas e acarinhadas. Iria viajar sozinho, mas, de última hora decidi levar minha filha de 16 anos. Não havia lugar, mas o proprietário deu um jeito, arrumou um espaço, higienizou e acolheu minha filha da melhor forma possivel. Fui competir de Stand Up Race e a prancha dormiria sob o teto do carro na rua. Estava preocupado, o proprietário disse-me para coloca-la no saguão da entrada. Estamos falando de uma prancha de 14 pés. Ela ficou encaixada no único espaço possivel. Ele não Tinha a obrigação, tampouco o dever ou compromisso de aceitar minha filha ou guardar minha prancha, mas assim o fez.

Gostaria de ter ficado mais tempo. É um Hostel e não um Hotel 5 estrelas. Dentro daquilo que se propõe, supera as expectativas. Não há espaço para pendurar as roupas caso as mesmas sejam lavadas Se bem que ninguém viaja para ficar lavando roupa né.

O Valens Hostel é super aconchegante, fica ao lado de um Supermercado, que facilita muito às refeições! Fica próximo o Cais Santa Luzia, de onde sai as embarcações pros passeios nas ilhas. O Filipe (anfitrião) super querido e atencioso, brincalhão com todos! Parece um primo distante! Nem parecia q eu estava em um hostel! Ambiente com quartos individuais ou compartilhados.
