They cancelled at the last minute then sent phishing emails

Cancelled my booking one hour before check in... Then sent me a phishing email trying to get all my bank, address, birthday and other details. Don't book this place

Avoid Angra 147—it's an unsafe and unwelcoming place. Upon arrival, a host, initially friendly, turned hostile when I struggled with Portuguese. He expelled me in anger. Subsequently, his partner visited my new hostel, trying to pressure me into canceling my booking on Booking.com to silence my negative review. These hosts are inhospitable; consider alternative accommodations for your safety as a solo traveler.

Good location, stay quality depends on who you are sharing the room with.

Location was great- 5 mins walk to the pier. From the bus station it only cost about R$9 by uber. Room and bathrooms were clean. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Believe there was free laundry as well but I did not use it.

The room was quite stuffy even though there was a fan and a/c - I had the misfortune of sharing it with a girl who was very fussy about the temperature and refused to let me turn on the fan and even shut all the windows. I had to open one side because I couldn't breathe.

The place was extremely clean and well kept. Everton, the host, was extremely kind and helpful in suggesting beaches to visit. When there was an error with booking.com in the room reservation, he cleared up the misunderstanding and made sure we were taken care of.

The front room was a bit warm and since it was on the main street, not very quiet. Get one of the back rooms for a cool and quiet night of rest!

Really good hostel to spend time as much as you need in angra

The staff was amazing and really helpful! He gave me restaurant tips and truly listened my needs. The wifi was really good

Clean and comfy place to stay for 1/2 nights

Great place to stay for 1/2 chill nights, or as a stopover if you are going to Ilha Grande the place is new and super clean. Owners are very kind

There was no "hostel vibe" I'd say it is more like Guest house.

A lovely short stay

We stayed for a night en route to Ilha Grande and the hostel is perfectly situated for easy access to the ferry port. Everton and Altamiro were very friendly and helpful guests and we had a comfortable night.

Nothing bad stands out and it met our expectations fully. Maybe some more information about the different ferry options to Ilha Grande could be useful as I suspect many people are heading for there.

Gut für eine Nacht als Zwischenstopp

Das Hostel ist recht klein und gemütlich, der Besitzer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Alles ist sauber, die Betten sind bequem, der Gemeinschaftsbereich gut ausgestattet und gemütlich. Man ist in wenigen Minuten am Hafen, wo Boote zur Insel abfahren.

Mein Viererdorm ging direkt auf die gut befahrene Hauptstraße. Mein Bett direkt am Fenster fühlte sich an, als ob die LKWs direkt durchfahren würden. Es war nachts echt laut. Die anderen Zimmer gehen nach hinten oder zur Seite und sind sicher ruhiger.

O funcionário que me atendeu (um gordinho) foi extremamente mal educado comigo. Eu, mulher, viajando sozinha, me senti extremamente mal e até chorei com o tratamento que recebi. Eu me hospedei para fazer uma prova, acabei atrasando um pouco o checkout e como meu celular estragou na praia fiquei sem conseguir avisa-los. Assim que retornei, falei que pagaria mais meia diária, me desculpei, mas ele foi super ignorante, falou que era para sair logo e nem me permitiu esperar o Uber na sala. Extremamente grosso e mal educado. Eles não ligam o ar condicionado, achei o fim da picada isso, passei muito calor na primeira noite… Na segunda noite ligaram pois tinha mais gente no quarto e todos concordaram. Porém o ar me acordou no meio da noite porque por algum motivo começou a pingar dentro do quarto, em cima do meu celular ainda… Os quartos são bons, banheiros e áreas compartilhadas também, localização show, mas pelo tratamento que recebi, não recomendo. Sugiro treinar melhor os funcionários e tratar os hóspedes com mais educação.

O local é fantástico, tem tudo o que precisa numa hospedagem coletiva. Fomos em grupo e fechamos um quarto coletivo só pra gente. O diferencial dos quartos coletivos são as camas individuais e não beliches, super confortáveis!!! As áreas de uso coletivo também são todas bem estruturadas. Experiência maravilhosa no hostel.
