About this cottage rental
Rustic cottage set on a hillside overlooking the lake for fantastic views of sunsets (westerly exposure). Cottage is situated at the end of a bay amongst an archway of glorious birch,oak and maple trees. Very private (no cottage to one side), quiet with a natural environment.
The cottage is 1000 square feet, vintage Viceroy style that is cozy and comfortable. It is all pine/cedar interior with an open concept kitchen/livingroom area overlooking the lake. A wood stove fireplace (wood supplied) is in the corner. Two bedrooms (queen beds) of equal sizes with an additional day bed (double) in the livingroom area. Beautifully decorated (rustic charm) with all custom made furniture.
A large wraparound deck for relaxation with a BBQ situated near the siding door.
100 feet of waterfront with with a huge deck and dock for your enjoyment. A boat house with a refrigerator, life jackets, water toys and a canoe for use. Boat launch nearby and accessible to park a boat at the dock. Lake is very quiet with very little boar traffic.
A hot tub located within the gazebo overlooking the lake.
Basic essentials (toilet paper, soaps, cleaning products, etc) are supplied. Required to bring your own bed sheets and towels.

Cabin was even better in person - perfect amount of rustic coziness paired with all the comforts of home. The views of the lake from the cabin and hot tub were beautiful - especially in the fall. Remotely off main road with 12 minute drive either way into town (both Port Carling and Bracebridge). My husband and I stayed with our little dog and were already looking to book another stay here before we even left. Host is very responsive if needed throughout the entire process.
