About this house rental
Best location on the island. Have fun with the whole family at this stylish mid-century oasis. The Mint Julep is a beautifully renovated home! It offers the best in design and accessibility to everything St. Simons has to offer. From shopping to sand, the home is within walking distance of all the shops and dining in the Villages and an easy short walk to the beach. Great for large gatherings, wedding events, and summer fun all year long!
The Mint Julep is set up for contactless entry, so no need for interaction. However, I am reachable via phone/text/email.
When you are ready to venture out, visit Saint Simons Village which is a stones throw away from the Mint Julep front door. The village offers upscale restaurants, shopping, and fishing from the pier. Take a short walk to the beach to the historic lighthouse or simply stay perched poolside at your private in-ground pool in the oasis of the Mint Julep backyard. Saint Simons offers world class golf courses, fine dining, magical evening strolls as well as all the charm Saint Simons Island has to offer.
Home is accessed through an electronic key pad. Code will be provided the day before your reservation begins.
The Mint Julep is a thoughtfully designed 3 bedroom 2 bath home. The master bedroom has a king size bed, two closets, window seat over looking the pristine backyard. Private bathroom with oversized shower- frameless glass door. The living room is a very spacious gathering spot that's open to the dining room that comfortably seats 8. The living offers a sleeper sofa and cozy setting with a large flat screen tv. The open concept, adjacent dining room overlooks the massive screened in porch, with yet additional dining and sitting area, as will as a flat screen tv. Off the foyer, take the hall to the additional bedrooms. The first bedroom is a child/teen oasis. There are two bunk bed stacks offering four single beds. Great for hosting large families. The adjacent bedroom has two full beds. The hall bathroom has a large vanity and tub shower. The backyard is everything!!! Rectangular gunite pool, fire pit has gas igniter and glass glowing rocks. The outdoor covered kitchen/bar boasts a sink, fridge, ice maker, grill and flat screen TV. No better venue to watch your favorite college/NFL team! Large private fences surrounds the backyard. Astro turf keeps the lawn green 12 months a year. This home is a vacationers dream!
The home has ample parking for 3 cars. There is plenty of public parking nearby. The location is an easy pickup spot for Uber and Lyft. Renting bikes on the island is available as well.
Pool can be heated daily for an additional charge!

Very nice house, well renovated, decently appointed kitchen. “Hotel” next door playing pool music in the afternoons is mildly annoying. Fabulous location, very walkable. We love the area, and the giant live oak in the back yard is simply stunning! Our frisbee-chasing border collie (Beckett) LOVED the Astro turf back yard. We liked the fire table (Beckett not so much).

This was our second time staying at the Mint Julep and it was just as great as the first! Great, walkable, location and great home to enjoy our time in SSI. We’ll certainly be back again!

Beautiful property! Communication with the host was great! Loved the back yard pool area, and that the entire back yard was fenced. This allowed our dogs to enjoy vacation as well. The home is well stocked from the kitchen to items for you to enjoy on the beach. Beds were so comfortable! Location cannot be beat! You are a short walk to the village/pier area. We will definitely stay again at Mint Julep!

Our family was visiting a college friend & turned the trip into a beach vacation. The house was super stylish & trendy decor. The pool was perfect & best spot to cool off from the heat. Location is so close to the village. We enjoyed walking for meals, ice cream, & shopping. Walkable distance to the pier. Recommend driving or renting a golf cart to get to the beaches. Public parking is available for both. We hope to come back again & look forward to staying at Mint Julep!
