Good communication, I was able to check-in with instructions without any problems. Centrally located, close to restaurants, shops, and the waterfront. Very close to a bus stop for airport, Knossos and the port. Also walking distance to the port. I took the bus from the airport and it cost me less than 2 Euros, then just 2 minutes walk to the apartment. Spacious and clean, nice small balcony. I felt safe in the area.

Bed is very uncomfortable and needs replacement. Very poor and old shower. The apartment is old and needs refreshing, cleanliness was average.

Best place to stay in Heraklion! Would definitely visit again! We had a two-week vacation in the city of Heraklion and the apartment choosing was very hard especially knowing that we would like to rent a car and cook for ourselves. At first we didn’t have any high expectations about this rental, but while coming inside we felt more than happy about the choice. Keep in mind that we came at early morning of Sunday so most of the shops were closed so the host was so carrying and prepared for us groceries to make a breakfast and lunch. Other than that the apartment was cleaned more than regularly. Apartment had everything you may need for your stay- extra blankets, coverlets, pillows, even a sewing kit, cleaning product etc. Kitchen has a lot of equipment and a lot of dishes and cutlery, even spices, pasta, sauces that is not very common to find at other places. We have been cooking a lot and didn’t feel restricted with pots- pans or about the size of the fridge. Also apartment has a good washing machine and a cute balcony where to chill at the hottest time of the day. Neighbourhood is amazing, grocery stores, great food spots, tourist attractions, most popular bus stops and convenience stores are in the closest location. Also, what’s important- there are a lot of free parking nearby and if u didn’t get lucky, right at the apartment door there is a valet parking as well. We didn’t have any problems during the stay- we didn’t hear any noises from the street or from the neighbours, the locals living in the building are very friendly. The bed vas good, sheets were cleaned and changed regularly. The host was amazing- didn’t meet any person who was so helpful and curious about how we feel in the apartment, what do we need and when do we need a cleaning lady to come. If you are willing to stay in Heraklion, we would definitely recommend stopping scrolling and book this apartment. You would never find anywhere this kind of care and hospitality, even at the highest prices!
