Sempione Split-level Terrace Apartment - Top Collection

Communication was good, and place was nice. Nice location and neighbourhood. If you are seeing a show or a match in San Siro, it is super easy to get there.

The place could have been great! But it was such a shame that all of the plants on the beautiful rooftop were dead, and there was no shade or umbrella over the outdoor table. Meanwhile we are just looking at, the neighbouring terraces had well-watered plants, comfortable outdoor sofas, and umbrellas over their tables. There was even a water hose on the roof, so it doesn’t seem like it would be that difficult to maintain. There were also handles held together with tape, which gave the impression that a little maintenance had been overlooked. Overall, it feels like it would only take a few small improvements to make the place truly excellent.

La copia delle chiavi non era fatta bene perciò aprire la porta era difficoltoso. Il miscelatore della doccia era rotto, difficile da aprire. Pulizia scadente: ho trovato delle unghie tagliate nell'armadietto del bagno accanto alla carta igienica e i saponi, segnalato il problema ma le unghie sono rimaste lì. Nel terrazzo le piante erano quasi tutte secche, non curate rispetto agli altri, questo non impatta sul soggiorno però è un peccato.

Great location! Plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Very quiet area at night. 15-20 minute walk to the train station/ metro. 30 minute walk to Parco Sempione and Sforzesco Castle, with plenty of public transportation options. Check in was simple and quick. There’s an elevator to the apartment on the 6th floor. Keys are easily accessible for self check in. The lock on the door to the apartment is a little finicky. Management was quick to send check in/out instructions and respond to questions via WhatsApp. The apartment was clean and tidy. It has plenty of windows for air, as well as two AC units to keep cool. We loved the balcony and rooftop terrace! Towels and linens were provided. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, plates, cups, pans, etc. as well as a coffee machine with a few coffee pods (bring your own cream/sugar if needed). Overall a lovely apartment in a lovely neighborhood. I’d definitely stay here again :)

The accommodation initially looked great, and the location is very convenient — close to the city centre and easily accessible by public transport. The terrace is definitely a great advantage. The owners were also easy to communicate with and responsive.

Unfortunately, once we started settling in, we noticed quite a few things that were disappointing. The bed linen was dirty, and we even found a mouldy pillow. There was rubbish left on the balcony, while the plants on the terrace were dried out and had an unpleasant, distinctive smell. We also found pieces of broken glass on the tiles, so we had to be very careful when walking around. The bathroom was missing toilet paper, and the kitchen did not have a sponge for washing dishes or a cloth for drying/cleaning them. Some of the furniture also looked quite worn and outdated. Overall, the cleanliness and general preparation of the accommodation could have been much better.
