Chic Design Flat Milan - City Center & Balcony

Overall we’re happy with the apartment. It is quite spacious and very bright, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is good too: it’s not central Milan, but you can walk straight to Piazza del Duomo in about 40 minutes. And along the way you’ll pass the beautiful Sempione Park, the Arco della Pace and Castello Sforzesco. The apartment’s design is quite stylish — I especially want to mention the one in the bedroom, it’s very cozy. Many things are well thought out, and overall it’s genuinely a good option for a couple of nights in Milan.

Unfortunately, some parts of the apartment look a bit “tired”: the walls are cracked in places, the bathroom would benefit from a repair, and the living room was a little dusty (the sofa and the cupboard where the dishes are kept). It’s not that it’s anything critical, but these little things really affect the overall impression. The bed wasn't very comfortable. The mattress kept slipping off the wooden slats underneath, and the pillows were quite thin. We also had problems at check-in. Although we were sent detailed instructions (even a video), something still went wrong. The door at the entrance to the building’s courtyard wouldn’t open, even though we did everything according to the instructions. Maybe the lock happened to break that day. The host didn’t reply straight away — and honestly, it’s not certain he would have been able to help us anyway. So we spent about 10 minutes trying to open the door, but luckily someone was coming out and we managed to get in. Then we found a mistake in the instructions: get out of the elevator, turn left, go down the stairs to the balcony… you don’t actually need to go down there — we figured that out on the spot. Then the key lockbox didn’t open straight away. And the door was a bit difficult to open too. We were tired and carrying bags, and of course little annoyances like that leave a muddled impression, especially when you’ve just arrived. But other than that, everything was good.

The apartment is nestled in a very traditional Italian building which is incredibly authentic. The apartment is incredibly well equipped and located next to both a fantastic supermarket (we made most of our own food) and one of the best ice cream shops I’ve ever had. The apartment is clean and enjoys aircon and a comfortable bed. It also has a very cute terrace. It is incredibly well situated to get into the centre of Milan, to the mains stations, particularly Garibaldi and also to get to the San Siro Stadium. We will definitely be booking here again.

Asciugamani troppo piccoli. Bagno un po' piccolino. Descrizione di come arrivare alla struttura via messaggio, non molto dettagliata. Aria condizionata solo in camera quindi ci mette tanto a rinfrescare tutto l'appartamento.
