A bit noisy

Room was spacious and love the bright colours. Kitchen was equipped with all we needed. Very walkable to the action and only a short taxi to the port.

Close to the main road so can be a little loud if you are a light sleeper.

In a very touristy city, this place is truly an escape. The bed was very comfortable. The television was large and had some free programming. The rooftop is a great place to glimpse the ocean and the sunset. The host was very accommodating. There is plenty of room to unpack and store luggage. The walls are soundproof. I had no idea there were children watching cartoons in the room next door until I went into the hallway and heard it. The location was excellent for me because I wanted to be close to the beach.

My one complaint is that there was not a hand towel in the bathroom. The room only comes with 2 bath towels.

The location was perfect , close to the north end of the malecon , restaurants , stores and laundry. The manager was great, he responded quickly to any questions and very helpful. The kitchen had everything you needed for light cooking. Showers were fine, lots of hot water. 2 upper terraces , the common areas were lovely. Views of ocean and city from upper terrace.

Unfortunately this was a windowless apartment on street level. There was only a window by the door which was apart down a short hallway from the main room and kitchen. One had to have lights on at all times to see. I was not aware from the description and would not have rented a 2 week stay had I known. Okay for a short stay if you;re out most of the time. Or spend time up on the terraces.
