Amazing views and the 8 bedrooms each with private bathroom.

Too many stairs.

This place is absolutely amazing! From beginning to end our trip was flawless! The pictures don’t do the house justice. It’s huge and the views are not to be believed! Every room is unique and has a view of the ocean. There are three pools with swim up bars and beautiful kitchen for all the delicious meals. We rented the entire 15,000 sq ft house and tried hard to spend time in every spot! Estela and the chef, Augustin, went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The food was impeccable and Estela definitely knows how to make amazing cocktails! (Have them make the shrimp with mango sauce and poblano and corn crema) Huge shout out to Daniel as well for helping execute a wonderful trip! He was super attentive with all the details we wanted done. We can’t wait to go back!

I absolutely loved the view of the Bay all the time. It was incredible. The housekeepers were extremely helpful every day.

Villa Azul reminded me of a beautiful movie star in her declining years. She was the bell of the ball at one time and now she is old and still gorgeous. I am old so I can identify with Villa Azul. There are 32 stairs from the primary bedroom to the kitchen/dining area. This was very difficult for two 80 year olds to negotiate multiple times throughout the day. I wish I had known that before booking. I would like to also note that Villa Azul was not clean when we checked in at 3:05. The stairs were filled with debris in the corners. The housekeepers immediately went about cleaning everything. In retropect, perhaps they were just not done cleaning when we arrived. I would not recommend welcoming the next clients with dirty stairways and really dirty kitchen floors. I actually got paper towels and cleaned around the kitchen island. Not a good look. Please know that I have been in luxuary villas around the world (Costa Rica; Turks and Caicos; Puerto Villarta (2016); Cancun...) and this is the first time I have not been welcomed by the host or shown the property. The host was busy making margaritas and guacomole, which I actually had to ask for after he greeted us (Irvin).
