If you are coming to Nisyros then this is the place to stay. We walked and drove every bit of the island and the village of Nikia is the place to stay, not only is it close to the caldera but there are two tavernas in the town square which makes eating out really easy. We also explored Emporios which is the other village near the caldera, there is a great restaurant there for dinner but the village needs to be rebuilt in parts and is not as perfect as Nikia. We took both apartments which are above each other, Irene was super helpful and on hand if we needed anything. If we were to come back to Nisyros there is no doubt that we would stay here again. Book it, you won’t regret it!

The location was beautiful. The house was old traditional Greek home which we loved. Our host was wonderful. She met us with the keys and was helpful with suggestions. Wanted to stay longer!!!!
