Hammersmith Mews by Viridian Apartments

Fantastic location. Gorgeous apartment. Would definitely book again.

We arrived an hour before we could use the code and there was nowhere we could leave our luggage. A cleaning staff member advised we should call the customer service phone number - which we did- twice - but there was no answer. I had requested an early check in when booking but was told there was no guarantee. I would have paid for an early check in but I didn't know that was an option.

The 2 bedrooms apartment is lovely, new, clean and in a perfect location few minutes walk from Hemmersmith station. The viridian team is service oriented, supportive and communicative.

The beds are very narrow: 1.2/1.9 in one bedroom and 1.3/1.9m in the other.

Very lovely and comfortable app., 5 min from Hammersmith tube station. Great layout and super comfortable beds. Fairly quiet as well.

Not eco friendly, no trash bins for plastic or paper. It wasnt that clean, the rugs and chairs and sofa need stain cleaning and there was black hair everywhere.

The neighbourhood is relatively quiet (safe for upstair neighbours running around at times) and felt safe which was very appreciated. Relatively large space and living area. Glad to say that they have 4 dining chairs now not just 3. Also provided a washing machine and rack to dry out clothes.

1. Very very disappointed with the correspondence. We did not have a local line to make phonecalls and there was no response via emails sent on different days and occasions. Please do not advice people to reach you via email if you are unable to do this. We were locked out on one of the days (the code stopped working) and we had to borrow phones to get in contact with the hotline. Even then, we had to try multiple times as no one picked up the supposedly 24 hour hotline. It took them 1 hour before we were finally able to enter the home. (This was on the background of us having to checkout and fly off in a few hours). Nonetheless, thank you to the lady on the line for putting us thru different lines to get in contact with the necessary staff. 2. Check-in timing was very strict, not a minute or second earlier. Fair enough though since the check-in timing was stated to be at 4pm, so we had to hang around outside the door for 30min else pay a 50pound fee for an 'early check-in'. However, for the lack of grace shown to check in timing, there was a lot of grace expected from guests to be shown to you guys when we were locked out and unable to reach you. I would certainly hope that someone would be able to look into this. 3. Amenities provided: Expect the bare minimum. For a 6D5N stay, they gave a tiny bottle of shampoo, showerfoam and conditioner only - we had to buy our own toiletries which was no biggy. No seasoning, so bring your own or purchase one. Only 1 single dishwashing tablet provided - are these so expensive these days? 4. Cleanliness - there were brown stains all around the carpeted floor in the basement. The toilets in the basement also emited a sewage smell, we solved it by running the shower waters whenever were were around to get the flow of water moving.
