It was just like the pictures, and everything very functional. Good details, bath products and signature coffee. Communication with the host was quick and easy.
I asked for a quiet room far away from train trails, and we were just in front of one. We managed to be moved to other room the next day (if you’re a light sleeper as for a quiet room). In the new studio smoke alarm was turning on quite often and in the toilet the water wouldn’t stop flushing, but luckily it was solved! (Started to think I was jinxed 😅)

The apartment was amazing - what made me a great impression was the thoughtfulness of adding tiny details which made our stay much more exciting and practical - for example power plugs of EU, hairdryer, shopping bags, water bottles, even two hooks in the bathroom! It was very clean and even though it was relatively small, it was very comfy.
The only main issue, was the sound of the train all day and nights, so if you had to have the window open, you would hear it. but with the window closed it was not an issue.

Close proximity to bars and pubs and food. Also close to the thames, the gherkin and the shad. Very good location.
The room was smaller than expected. I a bigger guy so the size of the unit was not ideal. Not bad but very small IMO. Also the close primixy to the train tracks was not ideal. The sound of the train disturbs midday sleep even with windows closed. Nothing the owners can do but just note that you won't be able to get a good nap only when the trains stop running after midnight.
