Historic Dutch Barge, Idyllic location

The location was ideal and very interesting, Waitrose a 5 min walk away, st Katherine’s dock had plenty of eateries and is right across from the Tower of London and Tower Bridge a short walk We were very comfortable, one of our party has a disability which affects her mobility and she was able to get on and off the barge and up and down the internal steps with minimum assistance and we are all circa 70 years old. We loved sitting on the outside deck with a glass of wine or a cup of tea !

Nothing we didn’t like but a small grab rail at the top of the internal steps into the main cabin and outside steps with a handrail would make the barge much more disability friendly

The location is fantastic and the staff extremely helpful

Perfect location, lovely boat - a memorable experience! We all loved it ❤️ the wood burning stove was a treat and the fairy lights across the deck added to the magic!

The crockery, glasses and cutlery were poor / mismatched and very few glasses, dirty mugs and cutlery and strange collection of plates and bowls. The freezer was full of other people’s food. You have to hand wash everything as understandably there’s no space for a dishwasher but there was no plug or washing up bowl - small gripes and easily sorted I’m sure. We would definitely stay again!
