    The Athos is a tired, old hotel in desperate need of a refurbishment Our room was terrible, the shower head was fixed so close to the corner that we could not get directly underneath. the central room light was hanging showing the wiring , table on horrible balcony was chipping away, bit`s of used old sticky tape on back of front door, door closer not working screws loose, wardrobe door would not stay closed (key worn so badly)and stopped entrance door opening fully, laminate chipped of desk area, The breakfast was minimal and terrible, the bar snacks were not nice. The only bit good was the swimming pool which was better than the other hotels just up the road.
