Poplar River Condos 604-606 - Lake Superior - Lutsen, MN

We had the entire lower level with three bedrooms and living room/dining/kitchen area. The unit is separated into three distinct rooms, each with their own door and keypad lock which isn't evident from the photographs. Two units are just bedrooms with en-suite bathroom and private decks with Lake views. The third unit is also a bedroom with en-suite bath but it also has the living room/dining/kitchen area and a slightly larger deck with a grill. This layout wasn't a problem for our group since we had access to all three rooms in the lower level - it was just a slight surprise on check-in but nothing more. Great location overall with easy driving access to all the North Shore amenities and activities. Well equipped kitchen but a kettle would be a welcome addition since we had several tea drinkers and there is only a coffee machine available. Filters and ground coffee were provided though which is a nice touch. Overall, I'd highly recommend this property and would visit again without any hesitation!

This was a very nice accommodation. The only thing we didn't anticipate was not having air conditioning as it was a really hot day when we arrived (and I know being next to lake is not normally hot, but this day was). Luckily once we opened windows and turned on ceiling fans it cooled down a little for us. The next day was cooler so was much better.

We enjoyed having three separate units that worked as one very large space for our family during MEA weekend. The extra leaves opened the table for all eight of us! We loved that each unit had a fireplace and a deck that faced Lake Superior.
