About this apartment rental
The Corte Moretta apartment is a spacious 2-bedrooms apartment on two levels (ground and first floor) located a few steps from Campo San Samuele, just around the corner from Palazzo Grassi and the Grand Canal.
It has been completely renovated and equipped with every sort of comfort, it is extremely quiet, and it is easily accessible directly from the Vaporetto Stop on the Grand Canal without crossing bridges.
It is laid out on about 120 square meters in total and is composed of: entrance, spacious living room with windows overlooking a quiet little square, fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, 2 double bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms.
The double sofa bed in the living room can be used on request for 20% extra rental fee, the apartment is suitable for up to 6 people, but we recommend maximum 5 guests for maximum comfort.
The location of the apartment is excellent both for walking and for connections by vaporetto (water bus). The two nearby stops are San Samuele and Sant’Angelo. The Alilaguna ferry to the airport stops at Sant’Angelo. The apartment is also close to Campo Santo Stefano where there are a number of café bars and restaurants The Accademia Bridge that leads to the Dorsoduro District is just a short walk away. The neighborhood has many interesting local artisan shops and nearby there are the Palazzo Fortuny and the Teatro La Fenice, and Piazza San Marco is only about 10 minutes away.

Living in this lovely apartment, with its windows opening onto the charming, quiet Corte Moretta, was such a joy! From the minute Tracy met us at the San Samuele vaporetto stop, I felt like I had come home at last. The apartment is spotless and very well appointed, with everything you need to live in Venice like a local. It is just around the corner from Campo Santo Stefano but is so quiet, you forget you're in the middle of a very heavily trafficked tourist area. The local alimentary, Paolo Rossi, has just about anything you need but there's also a Conad supermarket a little further away - still within easy walking distance. The minor issues that arose during my two weeks stay (loose faucet in the kitchen and a power outage) were handled immediately by the Truly Venice team. Beds are wonderful with excellent pillows and linens. The bound booklet left by Truly Venice was really helpful, especially about trash/recycling protocols. It would help if it (or a smaller handbook) provided directions for using the stove and microwave. All in all, however, this is nitpicking. A fantastic place for anyone who really wants to immerse themselves in the daily life of this amazing city.

Poor water pressure in upstairs shower so hot water was intermittent. Overall a very nice place. Truly Venice was excellent as property manager. Loved the location. Downstairs shower was fine.
