Townhouse close to the beach

This is a relatively small urbanization with traditional Spanish charm. The gardens and pathways are lined with wonderful flowers and plants. The swimming pool is a good size and never felt crowded; during our two-week stay, we often had it all to ourselves. You can walk to the nearest beach, although we ended up driving to a smaller beach a little further away. Torremuelle train station is just a 7-minute walk away. From there, you can take the train that runs between Málaga and Fuengirola. Benalmádena Pueblo can be reached in about 8 minutes by car or approximately 40 minutes on foot. The townhouse had all the facilities we expected and even a few extras, such as basic spices and other cooking staples, so we didn't have to buy every little thing we needed. We were also welcomed with a bottle of cava on the dining table, which was a nice touch. We particularly appreciated the proper duvets rather than just sheets and blankets, which made the beds very comfortable. The bedrooms were also spacious, and inviting. The air conditioning in one of the bedrooms was not working properly, but this was fixed within a couple of days after we notified the property manager. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this property to others visiting the area.

A couple of small points for improvement: The outdoor unit for the living room air conditioning is located on the terrace wall, so when the AC was running it was a bit noisy to sit outside. During our stay, temperatures reached 35–39°C, so it would have been nice to keep the living room cool while enjoying the terrace, but this was only a minor inconvenience. We also contacted the property manager a few days before arrival to see if an earlier check-in at 15:00 instead of 16:00 would be possible. Unfortunately, this was not easy to arrange, and on arrival we had to wait an additional 20 minutes for the key handover. However, these were relatively small issues and did not take away from what was otherwise a very enjoyable stay.

The house was beautiful, super spacious, comfy, with a gorgeous big terrace and a sea view. It was decorated with style, with so many little details, and it was super clean. The kitchen was fully equipped and spacious, with everything you could possibly need. There were plenty of towels, the beds were very comfortable. Single large bed was wide enough for two people. Both bedrooms are beautifully decorated and spacious, which contributed to the overall experience. The whole neighborhood was really quiet, so we got some great sleep. There's a pool with sunbeds, umbrellas, and lots of shade from the trees for guests, plus a tennis court. The beach wasn't far, and the train station is just above the neighborhood, with the bus station not far either.

Wifi was not working. The host was responsive and even offered to call the internet company for us, but we were out and about most days, so it wasn't a huge deal.
