The serenity of this place is divine. The space is modern yet traditional. Spacious room with modern bathroom that has a hot pool overlooking the water views of Amanohashidate. The breakfast was delicate flavours, beautifully presented. I'd recommend dinner reservations made well in advance, either here or locally, as many lunch spots close. The hot springs (onsen) had an outdoor and indoor pool which are well equipped with towels etc.

The location is perfect. In the centre of town but in a super serene and tranquil location. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. And the futon I slept on was THE MOST COMFORTABLE FUTON I've ever slept on. I loved my stay and I'm pretty sure you will too.
There was nothing I didn't like. Lovely place and really nice staff. Message to Monjusou: If you ever decide to sell your Yukatas in your shop please let me know via [email protected]

The most beautiful hotel, such lovely rooms, and very gentle, kind and attentive hosts. It gave us the peace and tranquillity we were looking for. The dinner recommendations were some of the best food we’ve eaten in Japan.
