    It’s a very charming and private resort with a peaceful, slow-life atmosphere. Arima Onsen itself is lovely—you can just stroll around and enjoy it at a relaxed pace. We really enjoyed our stay here. The service was excellent, with a high standard and a traditional Japanese ryokan style. The food was good and worth the price, though not as amazing as some reviews suggest. That said, I have to be honest—the facilities and the overall refinement of the rooms don’t quite compare to ryokans in bigger destinations like Hakone or even Hokkaido. Our driver also mentioned that Arima used to be very popular in the past, but it’s not as trendy anymore. At this price point, there’s now a lot of competition. Overall, we liked it and don’t regret staying here at all—but we probably wouldn’t come back again.

    It would be difficult to improve on this magnificent facility with its amazing staff. It is incredibly peaceful and beautiful and the perfect place for a restful stay. Our room had an excellent hot spring mineral water bathing room which was so convenient. The meals were remarkable and the quality of the staff could not possibly be better.
