The Blue Haven at Conneaut Lake

The location and size was excellent. It was well equipped with dishes, cups and silverware. We had great access to the owner so communication was easy.

The beds are uncomfortable. The cleanliness was superficial as the floor around the toilets was filthy as was the toilet brush holder. The rugs have seen better days. The master tub is a jetted tub and dangerous to get in and out of as it's 2 foot high. The floor of the tub is slippery so I almost fell twice. The only safety bar is outside the tub. Unfortunately there was a health risk reported for the water which was heavily contaminated with Arsenic but we were not informed by the owner at all. The water was not to be used yet we were not given any information on where to get usable water. This is very concerning to me as I felt unwell the last few days of the stay so I'll be seeking medical care to be tested for arsenic when I get home.

We can't say enough positive things about the hosts and their beautiful home! They helped us out last minute, in an emergency, and we are very thankful and appreciative for their hospitality.

Location was perfect for our needs. The house is absolutely adorable! It was very nice to come home to a very relaxing place after a long day at work! Thank you

Seamless checkin and check out— the hosts were responsive and accommodating. This was a great location, spacious home, and the bedding was comfortable and bountiful. We had everything we needed AND the hosts left us snacks and a bottle of wine that were not wasted!

It would have been great to have more stuff for kids such as yard toys or a small playground or trampoline. There were extra pillows that were strictly decorative that seemed like a lot of extra hubbub for no reason.
