Amelja's Apartment

Locatie en hygiëne was top! Host was erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk.

Parkeren is erg moeilijk, maar de host heeft ons hierbij geholpen.

Wonderful apartment, and the hosts are very friendly and helpful, assist with everything and are extremely kind. Apartment is spacious, we were a group of five and there was enough room for everyone. The beds are very comfortable, and the apartment has absolutely everything you might need. There are air conditioners in every room, and they are very powerful. There are also two bathrooms. We are usually very picky, but this place was truly clean, comfortable, and we really, really liked everything. This is not a problem, but apartment has no private parking, so you need to park on the street, but parking is free. Host helps you find a spot, so there are really no issues. The apartment is located right next to the old town, so location is fantastic.

Apartment war super und sehr sauber

The apartment had a good size. The building is very new and the location is top. It was clean and very well equipped. We were allowed to check in a bit later than the official check in time.

The description of the apartment states that it is (only) possible to pay by card. But when we arrived the host said we should pay in cash. Because we were not expecting this, we did not have enough cash in Euros, only in Lek. This was a major inconvenience because it meant we were out of lek at night with all exchange booths already closed and we also ended up paying more for the apartment than we were supposed to because of the exchange rate. There was no toilet paper when we arrived. We had to get in contact with the host again and wait for him to bring some. The communication with the host via messaging was good at first, but then when we arrived there was no one in sight. Luckily we had an Albania Sim card and could call him, but this could have been done a bit better. The host himself was also not the most friendly. Eventhough, the apartment was equipped well with new things some of them did not work very well. The hair dryer for example only works when you press on the power button, which makes a very annoying experience drying your hair. One of the beds in the twin bedroom was not assembled correctly, so it wobbled every time you moved and it made very loud sounds. There was very loud construction and shouting outside of the apartment starting from 5 a.m
