Luxe City Hot Tub: Urban Retreat

Good location not far from the city centre short walk away small and cosy nice bed and huge selection of takeaway in the area.

Missing attention to detail for a luxury stay. Artificial plants dusty Glasses cutlery and crockery not of a luxury quality and lacked in quantity. Decor looking tired needs a refresh some floor boards swollen from water damage and strong damp smell in bathroom. Hot tub was a great addition but chlorine levels to high x4 tablets were found way to much this can cause skin irritation but once removed our eyes stopped burning and it was extremely comfortable.

Lovely stay with a few minor points to note We had a great time here! The property was easy to find, and collecting the key from the safe on the back gate was much simpler than some previous reviews suggested. The alley was well lit, but if you arrive after dark, a torch will help when using the keypad. The location is excellent—just a short 10-minute walk to the riverside. We enjoyed food and drinks nearby before heading back to relax in the hot tub, which was perfectly hot. We weren’t bothered by the neighbouring windows overlooking the garden; it’s to be expected in central Norwich. On the way back, there are a few corner shops, including a Co-op near the train station, which was handy for grabbing breakfast supplies. The kitchen had everything we needed, though the freezer door was broken (not an issue for us). The only downsides were a neighbour upstairs banging on the floor at 12:30 a.m.—perhaps we were chatting too loudly, even though the music was barely on—and the hot water seemed to run out by 10:30 a.m., so we couldn’t shower before leaving at 11. Neither of these spoiled our stay, and overall, we’d happily return! Nothing the host could have done about the neighbour, and communication with the host was excellent throughout.

Hot tub and garden nice, comfy bed.

Even though a strong smell of mould was reported on reviews from a year ago there is still extremely strong smell of damp and mould in this property. The hot tub had dirt in the bottom. The draws in the bedroom had hairs in and the kitchen cupboards were also dirty. Dirty mugs. Also had 2 friends over for 3/4 hours during the day and got asked for them to ‘leave immediately’ even though this is no where stated in the policies. No shampoo, no tea just green tea, no coffee, old sugar which is abit hard. Definitely no bath robes or slippers which was the ‘nice touch’ they advised they do for their guests. Someone blood on a bed pillow, 2 day out of date milk left for us. Would’ve been great if all of this wasn’t misadvised.
