Scalpay Lodge

Lovely lodge in a beautiful woodland setting Equipped with toaster, microwave , cooker dishwasher. Two bathrooms There’s a small Hut nxt to children’s play area with a couple of washing machines which are free to use and a dryer ( takes pound coins) Saw so many little birds feeding at the bird feeders

There was nothing to dislike about the property at all. If I was picky I’d say the 4 mile drive to the main town for groceries took a bit of getting used to, as part of it as a single track road with passing places. But it’s lovely scenery on the way

Le cadre est très joli, le logement est bien décoré et confortable. Les hôtes sont à l'écoute et savent se montrer bienveillants.

Le wifi n'a pas fonctionné pendant notre séjour. Si vous venez avec votre chien, mieux vaut prendre contact avec les hôtes pour avoir des précisions à l'avance car il y a des restrictions non indiquées sur booking. Le lave linge et le sèche linge ne sont pas dans le logement. Il faut des pièces pour utiliser le sèche linge et pour la lessive.

The location of the lodges is very nice - place full of nature with birds singing. The hosts are very friendly and take care of the guests. The lodges are clean and rather big - with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living room. We were a bit worried that it would be too cold during the night, but the heaters are very effective, and in fact it was too hot in the morning. The kitchen is fully equipped, the living room too, actually there is everything one would need to have.

Location with easy access to great scenery. Walks on the doorstep. Playground for kids. Helpful hosts.Good facilities close by.Great base for exploring Skye and the Highlands. Pretty stream nearby.Lodge was comfortable with thoughtful touches like tic spray. Well designed ergonomically.

My towel rail didn’t work or at least I couldn’t find a switch. WiFi stopped working for the last three or four days.
