Section L Hamamatsucho

I was a little reluctant and worried about an apartment room place to stay but this place was very very clean and spacious. Plus it's at a close distance to the train station which is well connected with most of the big tourist spots in Tokyo. From the small stuff like a firm bed mattress (I personally would like something firmer but still), lots of coat hangers, lots of storage spaces, a good TV. And the big stuff like good choice of eatry places within like 10 mins of walking distance, and for first timers you can pretty much see Tokyo Tower from the streets so that'll be cool for those people. Again, being close to the train station that goes to most Tokyo hot spots in 20 mins, and if you're flying out within Japan Haneda is near by, or the Tokyo Station if you'd want to use the Shinkansen. I usually like trying different places in each visit to Tokyo, but this place was actually so good I'd consider using it constantly if, and when, I go on another Tokyo trip on the right price.

I wish there's a bit more variations in the amenities. Notibly a shower towel. For the room I used the toilet is a bit small. I'm not the tallest man, if any I'm short, and even for me the toilet space felt a bit tight. It's manageable, but it'd be nicer if the could reno the toilet just to be merged with the bathroom somehow in the future.

location of the property is good. the shopping area is a medium-short walk away. the room and bathroom were clean.

the exterior of this property was a big letdown. it looked like the back of a utility building. coupled with the fact that the street in which this is located is like a back street, we didnt look forward to coming back in the evenings. the balcony looked out over a similar depressing building, so we didnt want to draw the curtains apart either. the rooms were small -- there was barely any space between the end of the bed and the wall -- maybe 12inches? the paint of the door handle had come off, the wall just outside the unit was dirty. i had booked this looking forward to using the washing machine, but there were no instructions in english. there was a qr code which gave us instructions for all appliances in the room -- have you ever tried to run a washing machine cycle looking at the instructions on your phone? not easy :) so i didnt run the machine either. we had booked this for 3 nights, but after spending one night here, we booked another hotel for the next night, this time in ginza. Probably this is best for couples looking for a long stay in tokyo. we are a family with 2 teenage children. this wasnt for us, unfortunately.
