Metropolitan Apartment

Very well located, spacious, but a bit dated and poorly insulated. I've been using Booking.com for our travel reservations for years, and for good reason: everything is simple and straightforward. I did the same again this time for Malaga. The biggest drawback of this rental is its sheer complexity. There are far too many messages on Booking.com and WhatsApp, and you have to fill out a multitude of online forms to sign, supposedly for your security, on your mobile phone, right up to the last minute. We received an entry code for the building, and for the following days, we had to use the key to open the main door. Luckily, there's a lot of coming and going, so it's always open. But what about Sunday mornings? What if you have to leave early? As was our case, the door doesn't open without the key, and how are you supposed to open it at 7:00 AM when you have to leave the key inside the apartment and no one is awake yet? We're from a generation where everything is becoming increasingly difficult to keep up with. That's also why I'm writing this message, and I repeat, we book with Booking! Once inside the apartment, we were relieved. The written instructions on how to use it were very clear and concise—well done! On the website, the photos are enticing, but they don't really reflect reality. Some blinds and curtains don't open. Some rooms need refreshing; they're a bit worn. The best part? The neighbors—it's like they're in our bedroom or bathroom. In my opinion, it's generally worth a 7, based on all our trips. As for all your communications and forms to fill out, I'd give it a 3—they're too complicated to follow. Frankly, I don't think we're the only ones experiencing this. Please try to simplify your requests. The worst is yet to come. You give us information, but how are we supposed to give you a 5 on Airbnb or a 10 on Booking?

Todo perfecto. El apartamento está a 2 pasos del centro de la ciudad, limpio y con todo lo necesario para descansar, desconectar y disfrutar de la ciudad. La cama muy cómoda y las indicaciones y comunicación con la empresa anfitriona muy fáciles y fluidas. Todo por un precio más que ajustado. Lugar recomendable y al que volver sin duda

Przed przyjazdem dwukrotnie pytałam, czy w mieszkaniu jest ogrzewanie. Otrzymałam potwierdzenie. Po przyjeździe (luty br, w nocy temperatura na zewnątrz poniżej 10 stopni co przy nieszczelnych oknach i cienkich ścianach powodowało, ze w mieszkaniu było zimno) okazało się, że ogrzewanie jest ale zepsute - panel sterujący na ścianie był uszkodzony, po włączeniu ogrzewania wywalało bezpieczniki. Kaloryfer elektryczny w łazience również nie działał. Kontakt z właścicielem był przez whatssapp, podejmowanie sugerowanych działań nie przynosiło efektu, a właściciel dopytywał kilkakrotnie, czy w szafie znalazłam grzejnik (typu farelka). Po wyjęciu grzejnika właściciel uznał, że wszystko jest w porządku i poinformował, iż zgłosi uszkodzenie ogrzewania. Z danych na miejscu wynikało, że ogrzewanie nie zepsuło się w momencie mojego przyjazdu, tylko wcześniej. Przez cały tydzień pobytu sytuacja ogrzewania nie uległa zmianie. Prośby o dodatkowy koc najpierw skutkowały tym, że kazano mi przeszukiwać apartament w celu znalezienia koca, a w następnym dniu zakończyły się informacją: przykro nam, ale nie dysponujemy dodatkowym kocem. Naczynia w szafce kuchennej były niedomyte po poprzednich gościach.

Lo peor es el mantenimiento en general. La limpieza que realizan es muy superficial. Nos encontramos pelos en el baño, migas en la mesa, marcas de suciedad en muebles y ventanas... Otro defecto importante a nuestro parecer es el colchón que, objetivamente, se hunde por el centro. Además, la colcha y la manta que había en el armario era para una cama más pequeña. Así que, cuando refrescaba a medianoche, tuvimos que utilizar el nórdico sin funda (la funda es lo que utilizan como sábanas). También había cojines que estaban sin funda. Una de las lámparas de la mesita de noche está rota y sujetada con cinta de carrocero. Los estores de la cocina no funcionan y uno del salón está roto, aunque mi marido pudo apañarlo para que subiera y bajara. El filtro del grifo sale disparado porque no tiene la rosca que lo sujeta. No hay microondas, aunque esto ya lo sabíamos porque no viene en las especificaciones del alojamiento. En la cocina también echamos en falta tener más cucharillas (solo hay dos). En definitiva, es una opción económica pero los comentarios que habíamos leído antes de reservar no sé ajustan a nuestra experiencia. Mejorando el mantenimiento mejoraría en gran medida la estancia.
