This place is AMAZING! From the moment you walk in the automatic door, excellent and accommodating staff, boutique hotel feel, small cozy place right on the beach of Traverse Bay. Quaint rooftop restaurant. Very clean comfy room with great view. Walkable beach with seating and fire pit outside.
My only regret is it was a one night stay, would have loved to stay longer!

The room, the view from our room, the bathroom, the robes! The location, it has a nice rooftop for breakfast and dinner.

I like that it is clean and is lakefront. The coffee machine is nice. Chairs for sitting by the lake were convenient. The balcony had a great view.
Parking is a nightmare. Parking is supposed to be for guests only. But there is a rooftop restaurant/bar so a lot of those people park in the parking lot. The spaces are very tight and the parking lot is small. I had to circle around the parking lot several times and wait for someone from the restaurant to leave just to park. I stayed last year and loved it. This year, not so much. Last year there were two people working the front desk. This year just one. You could tell the staff was stretched thin and overworked. I just got a “cutting corners” vibe. The staff was pleasant and very friendly. But it was obvious they needed a second person. Even if only to help monitor the parking situation. The lady working the front desk was very helpful. The young man working the front desk, not so much. You could tell he didn’t really want to be there or be bothered beyond basic duties.
