Donato’s Villa — A Hidden Gem Above Lake Garda

Perched quietly on a hillside overlooking the shimmering waters of Lake Garda, it feels like a sanctuary suspended in time. The sound of a nearby waterfall, the stillness of private gardens, and the soft evening air create a serenity that is simply rare. Donato himself is the heart of this place — a host whose warmth turns a stay into a friendship. He always goes beyond what one could expect, sharing secret corners of the region and welcoming guests as though they were old friends returning home. One of the most cherished memories remains the evenings by the fireplace — a touch of warmth and quiet magic that only Italy seems to know how to create. And mornings? Always a dream. A beautifully arranged breakfast on the terrace, with the lake glimmering below, as if the world itself had paused to admire the view.

Villa Pinetina was an Italian paradise located in a beautiful part of the world. Hosts Donato and Cristina both gave their best to ensure our stay was the best it could be. We had one of the best holidays ever.

An unforgetable experience!

Everything was perfect!!! The hosts were very helpful before the trip by providing us with a lot of useful information. When we arrived they offered us complementary sparkling wine with dolce an water. We received a lot of discounts and hints to all the best places around the lace. First evening they took us by car (so that we can enjoy drinks) to one of the best restaurants “Gatto D’Oro” where we had an amazing time. They provided a lot of other great services which I will not mention so that you can enjoy their surprises. One the last day they offered us complementary Italian breakfast. We will definitely come back!

Incredible, unique place with a more than beautiful view on Lago di Garda from the private terrace. The interior is spacious and very atmospheric. Sleeping with a beautiful sound of a waterfall on the background.

Great night in a villa above lake Garda.

Beautiful location above lake Garda, close to the village. Exceptionally kind and helpful owners. The apartment is like a nice museum. Natural air conditioning is through the stream flowing in front of the window of the bedroom.

Air conditioning would be nice in the present extreme weather.

Tolle Tage auf unserer Rundreise

Tolle Tage in einer herrschaftlichen Villa mit riesiger Terrasse und Blick auf den „Lago“. Sehr, sehr freundliche, hilfsbereite und zuvorkommende Vermieter. (vielen Dank nochmal für alles an Christina und Donato) Die Nähe zur Ortsmitte mit guten Restaurants und schöne Spazierwege am See. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Es gab nichts zu bemängeln. Im Gegenteil, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt wieder.

Un sogno

Struttura stupenda, un sogno ad occhi aperti. È un’occasione vera per rilassarsi e non pensare più a niente! Il luogo ti riporta indietro nel tempo mentre oggi tutto va veloce, li il tempo rallenta! I proprietari sono persone fantastiche, educate, premurose e di piacevole dialogo. Il rumore della cascata a fianco è rigenerante e rende il clima fresco. Grazie ancora Donato e Cristina! Siete stati veramente gentili e UNICI.

Se veramente devo trovare una cosa negativa, notifico che manca il bidet nel bagno e la doccia è piccolina, del resto tutto perfetto!

Mi è piaciuto tutto! Siamo stati accolti come non ci era mai successo prima, la gentilezza, la professionalità e il calore dei gestori hanno reso i nostri 2 giorni a Gargnano speciali. Il racconto che il Sig. Donato ci ha fatto di questa dimora e della sua famiglia è stato appassionante, coinvolgente e ci ha fatti sentire parte, anche se per poco, della storia di questo luogo da favola!!!

Endroit à découvrir absolument !!!

L'accueil personnalisé et la gentillesse de Donato et de son épouse. Les explications et conseils donnés sur les lieux à visiter à Gargnano et à proximité. Les petites attentions de bienvenue (Bouteille de vin, petits gâteaux) qui sont toujours appréciées. La maison en elle-même qui nous ramène dans les années 70. La terrasse avec sa vue sur le lac de Garde absolument magnifique. Un moment de pur bonheur.

Salle de bains un peu exiguë..... mais conforme au confort des années 70 :-)

Séjour reposant avec vue sur mer

Donato a été un hôte excellent. Il nous a donné des conseils pour les restos et des cadeaux de bienvenue Vue de la terrasse superbe, vue sur mer et très relaxant. Le plus : la petite piscine gonflable qui était très apprécié avec la chaleur Localisation au top : Facile d accès par un escalier pour arrivée en ville

Pas de climatisation, juste un ventilateur mais au vue de la chaleur ce n était pas suffisant Salle de bain petite
