Chateau Tanesse de Tourny

An excellent Chalet getaway, close to Bordeaux and Saint Emilion. The hosts were fantastic, and I suggest you dine here at least one night. Enrico is an amazing chef.

Encrico is a warm and considerate host, supported by Valentino, together they make an excellent team, and our stay was an absolute pleasure. The property is beautiful, rooms are comfortable and the food prepared is delicious.

Enrico and Valentino created an unforgettable experience and a joy.

I almost don’t want to write this review. Some places you would rather keep to yourself. Chateau Tanesse de Tourny is one of those places. Everything about our stay was fantastic. The setting, the room, the food, the peace and quiet, and the service. It deserves top marks in every category. But what really makes this place so special is Val and Harrey. Their warmth, kindness and genuine attention to every little detail made our stay unforgettable. They always seem to know what you need before you even ask, and somehow make you feel more like a guest in their home than a guest at a hotel. We came to relax, eat well and explore the area. We left feeling that we had discovered a very special place, and one we will definitely return to. Absolutely wonderful. Although I may regret telling everyone else about it.
