Chateau Tanesse de Tourny

The property is a delight, full of character. The food was all homemade and with exceptional quality, baked daily. The hosts were charming and very knowledgeable with nothing too much trouble. We will certainly be adding this again to our stops in the future

What can I say about our stay at Château Tanesse de Tourny? Absolutely fantastic! The property, the grounds, the pool, the surroundings, the food, all wonderful. And to top it off, the hosts are the icing on the cake! Absolutely delightful. Enrico and Valentino could not do enough for us. They go well above and beyond to welcome you and to look after you during your stay. They are also very charming and have a great sense of humour! Thank you Enrico (and his very good English), Valentino and mama Val for our amazing stay at Château Tanesse de Tourny. We hope to be back! Adriana & the gang.

An excellent Chalet getaway, close to Bordeaux and Saint Emilion. The hosts were fantastic, and I suggest you dine here at least one night. Enrico is an amazing chef.

I almost don’t want to write this review. Some places you would rather keep to yourself. Chateau Tanesse de Tourny is one of those places. Everything about our stay was fantastic. The setting, the room, the food, the peace and quiet, and the service. It deserves top marks in every category. But what really makes this place so special is Val and Harrey. Their warmth, kindness and genuine attention to every little detail made our stay unforgettable. They always seem to know what you need before you even ask, and somehow make you feel more like a guest in their home than a guest at a hotel. We came to relax, eat well and explore the area. We left feeling that we had discovered a very special place, and one we will definitely return to. Absolutely wonderful. Although I may regret telling everyone else about it.
