Contrary to what other reviews stated, check in was very smooth, likely because an email was received a few days prior to check in to key in our information including passport photo first. Instructions were straightforward and more information was also sent via email. Location of hotel was pretty good as it is kind of in between Tenjin and Hakata stations! It took us about 20-25 minutes to walk to Hakata station and 15-20 minutes to get to Tenjin station (just a straight road down). Bus stops are also conveniently located on 2 main roads (towards Tenjin or Hakata). There are restaurants, convenience stores, local shops and coin laundry in the hotel's vicinity. Room has 2 double beds, is quiet at night and also toilet has a drying function which is useful to dry towels and clothes (if handwash). Basic amenities provided too including bath salts! Fridge leaked on the day we arrived but stopped after - perhaps the result of housekeeping leaving the fridge turned on before our arrival. Would recommend this hotel to others who are looking for affordable and more spacious rooms but do note that this is akin airbnb/homestay thus no housekeeping throughout our stay but spares of toilet paper and tissue paper, towels were provided.

I booked it late and already paid.Upon checking the other reviews it was not good .As I'm the one charged for it I'm worried because it's the first time of my 2 friends to stay in a hotel here in Japan.So upon opening our room,I didn't expect it to be..so wow!And they keep telling to me"thank you".

I can't connect on the usual value for money as we paid a discounted price, but the room was massive by Japanese standards and very clean. The check-in process went smoothly for us and the communication via email/Agoda messages was very clear.
