    We stayed here recently and were quite disappointed with the condition of the room. The bed was very old and uncomfortable, completely sinking in when we lay down, and it even felt itchy during sleep. The carpet looked dirty and had a musty, wet smell, which made the room feel unclean. Although the small kitchen with cooking utensils was convenient — especially for preparing local ingredients like fresh Kagoshima or Miyazaki steak and vegetables from the market — the overall cleanliness was a serious issue. The bedsheet linen was too small for the bed, constantly coming off during sleep, and we even noticed a blood stain on the mattress when the sheet slipped off. We were also disappointed that despite paying foreign tax, an additional 3,500 yen housekeeping fee was charged. Lastly, the staff were not very helpful — when we asked them to help call a taxi for our airport transfer, they seemed unwilling to assist. Overall, this stay was far below expectations, and I hope the management will improve cleanliness, bed quality, and staff service in the future.
