Checkin and checkout were easy. The house and property were large enough for 7 adults, 1 toddler, and a dog. I really appreciated that it was fully fenced in (even at the waterfront) so we didn’t have to worry about the toddler or dog. The yard was amazing to relax in! You are right beside neighbours, but they were so friendly that we didn’t mind. The river was slow and great to swim in, but the bottom was marshy. Such a nice community.I’d recommend bringing extra towels and dishwasher soap. While the house has AC, there are no fans. A couple well placed fans would help with air flow when it’s hotter. Make sure to check fire bans before using the fire pit. Overall I would totally recommend this place to others and I would stay here again! The hosts were responsive and kind.

Overall, the hosts were great. The place was modern and updated and very clean, everything was well kept and the property and the water were beautiful.
On the location:
I didn't realize from the pictures how close the neighbors are. It's like being at a cottage in the suburbs. The neighbours were all nice but it being the first long weekend of the summer, everyone was doing lawn and deck maintenance which meant constant noise during the day. It didn't feel at all secluded. On a similar note, the property is directly across the water from a main travel road that got frequent traffic
On the owners:
Overall, lovely experience, great communication, easy check-in, but some additional supplies in the cottage like garbage bags and some cleaning supplies like dishwasher detergent works have been helpful to make check out easier. Those are things I wouldn't have thought to bring with.

The house was very nice. Loved the location. Couple of big problems: Beds downstairs mattresses very uncomfortable and unfortunately that is where the 60 year old guests were staying because of the stairs. Septic system constant strong odor at front of house. Did not find out that you can't even flush toliet paper until after we booked.
