PROPERTY INFO:
Porta Azul is a four-bedroom contemporary villa in Los Limones, one of Casa de Campo Resort's southernmost residential communities, where Minitas Beach Club sits just 0.5 miles away — a four-minute golf cart ride that puts white sand, reserved loungers, and oceanfront dining squarely within the daily routine. The villa stands at the end of a stone-paved pathway lined with tall agave and ornamental plantings, its white rendered walls and dark slate roof set within a deep canopy of mature palms that provides complete privacy from the street.
Step through the slate-blue front door into a foyer framed by a three-panel triptych — large canvases in cobalt blue, forest green, and black mounted above a round glass table balanced on a single organic wood-root base. The main salon runs the full width of the ground floor beneath dark exposed timber ceiling beams, anchored by one oversized cobalt blue and white abstract canvas that commands an entire wall. The floor is polished travertine; the furniture is a mix of curved white upholstered sofas, rattan accent chairs, and a natural-fibre rug. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors across the back wall open fully to the pool deck. The dining area seats eight beneath a dramatic large black wire pendant chandelier, and a separate secondary lounge — an L-shaped sofa with colourful cushions and a rattan chair — gives the group a softer room to gather. The kitchen carries the same dark exposed beams as the salon, paired with white flat-front upper cabinets, wood-tone lower units, a stainless-steel range with hood, and a central island with bar stools; a wide window above the sink looks directly into the palms.
The primary bedroom has a pitched white-beam cathedral ceiling, a pair of blue and ocean-toned horizontal canvases above the headboard, and access to the glass-railing upper terrace that overlooks the pool and garden. A second bedroom is anchored by a vivid three-panel abstract in sharp reds, yellows, and greens, with a rattan pendant lamp and a slate-blue door opening directly onto the garden. The remaining two bedrooms are each configured with two beds dressed in pale blue-grey bedding, one with direct access to the pool terrace; all share the villa's signature woven pendant lamps. Every bedroom is fully air-conditioned with an en-suite bathroom; finishes range from full-height travertine-clad walls with open walk-in showers to dark teak-panelled wet rooms, all with stone countertop vanities and matte-black hardware. A housekeeper, cook, and waiter are included with every stay.
Outside, a stone-paved pathway cuts through a bed of tall agave to the pool deck, where a long rectangular pool sits on a travertine surround with white sun loungers arranged along its length. A full-scale covered gazebo occupies one side of the deck — a genuine outdoor room with a ceiling fan, a wicker lounge area with navy-and-white cushions, and a separate dark-wicker dining table that seats six, all positioned directly beside the water. The upper-level glass-railing terrace above provides an elevated perspective over the pool and the tropical canopy, with two dark wicker chairs for morning coffee or evening use.
Porta Azul places guests within easy reach of everything the resort offers. Minitas Beach Club is 0.5 miles away; Teeth of the Dog, The Links, and the Spa are 2.2 miles; the Marina is 2.2 miles; the Racquet Center is 2.3 miles; and Altos de Chavón with Dye Fore is 3.6 miles. The villa is a natural fit for families who want daily pool and beach access, multi-family groups who benefit from the varied bedroom configurations, and guests who want the privacy of a fully staffed estate without sacrificing proximity to the resort's social centre.
