PROPERTY INFO:
At Porta Azul a stone-paved path through tall agave leads to a contemporary four-bedroom in Los Limones, art on the walls in every room. Four bedrooms sleep eight, with an included cook handling the meals. The fit: a couple with an eye for contemporary art who want a walkable beach week, a family who came for the gallery walls and the pool, or two couples on a long weekend who chose Los Limones over the noisier sea-facing villas.
Mornings go to Minitas — a short walk through the resort to the sand. The pool runs along a travertine deck, the covered gazebo a few steps off for lunch and dinner under the ceiling fan. The main salon opens through floor-to-ceiling glass that folds back to the pool deck. A wall-scale abstract above the sofa anchors the room. The upper terrace stays in the shade for the morning drink and the sundown one.
Porta Azul sits in Los Limones, the residential pocket closest to Minitas Beach. The beach is a short walk through the resort for the daily swim. Teeth of the Dog — ranked the Caribbean's top course by the World Golf Awards — and The Links are a short cart ride up the road for the round. The Marina is a similar ride for the dressier evening out. Book Porta Azul when the trip is built around walkable beach days and a contemporary villa with art on every wall, not a sea-facing villa with the same view from every room.

RESORT FEE & ACCESS
All guests renting private villas at Casa de Campo Resort are required to register to gain access to the resort and its amenities. Registration fees are set by and paid directly to the resort:
• US$30.00 per adult, per night (ages 13 and older)
• US$15.00 per child, per night (ages 4–12)
• Complimentary for children under 4 years old
Resort fee provides access to:
• Golf courses, Fitness Center, resort restaurants, sports facilities, and other activities.
• Free use of towels and chaise lounges at the pool in the main hotel area, and at Minitas Beach.
• Health care services at the Central Romana Medical Center.
FOOD BUDGET: If your villa comes staffed, we suggest as a rough guideline to budget $50-$60 per adult per day for grocery costs if eating three meals at the villa (not including alcohol). This, of course, can vary due to your dietary requests. The Marina has a well-stocked supermarket with groceries, alcohol, and a wide selection of other products (sunscreen, hygiene products etc)
