The best location on Beaver Dam Lake!! We have it all! A tastefully updated interior, an amazing backyard leading to the waters edge where you find your own private dock where you can tie your boat, go fishing, or swim. Included in your stay, you have use of the 1 canoe, 3 kayaks, a variety of inner-tubes, and life jackets of all sizes. No need to bring firewood as it's free for you to use in your included fire pit. Take advantage of the huge backyard and try your luck at bad mitten, corn hole, or volleyball. We have several yard games for you to enjoy. In the summer months, you can listen to live music coming from across the bay. You can join the fun at this nightlife hot spot either by boat or a quick stroll over the dam on foot. There are a total of 13 restaurants and bars within walking distance, and several quaint downtown shops to check out. Be sure to check out Stormy's Music Venue to see who is playing while you are in town. You will be surprised at their high-quality lineup. But wait there is more! Adventure awaits when conditions are right! We are located 2 1/2 blocks from the kayak put-in point on the Beaver Dam river where you would experience a class 1, 5 star white water rapids that runs 5.5 miles. Shuttle service can be arranged with the Beaver Paddlers Inc. You have to see the water ski show put on by the Beaver Land Must-ski water ski team every Sunday at 6 pm. Enjoy right from the backyard with death-defying jumps and towering pyramids or walk 1 block down to Tahoe Park for the full show. Don't pack too much food! We are 2 1/2 blocks from Annabelle's Ice Cream Parlor! Voted the number #1 lunch spot in Dodge County! Among a delicious large food menu are 24 flavors of Cedar Crest ice cream! The first ice cream cone is on us! We look forward to making your stay amazing!!

The place was nice. At first had a problem with the door locks but got that figured out. Good location from downtown.

Exactly as pictured and described. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes/pots/pans whatever was needed. Lots of storage with large closet, and bins in the bathroom. There was a nice collection of games to play. View of the lake was wonderful. We enjoyed watching the pelicans, visiting with friends, and Annabelle's Ice Cream sundaes. The only item keeping this from a 5 star was the seating was not comfortable. The trundle was deep, the stools were tall and hard for folks to sit on for why length of time and the sofa sunk so could get in, bit not out. All in all I would recommend this if you are in the area and looking for a place for couple to stay.

This was not a 5 star rating in my opinion, but I would recommend it to others visiting Beaver Dam. We stayed here because of our visit to EAA in Osh Kosh. It was about an hour drive. Beaver Dam doesn’t have much to offer and not much to do. If you’re going for a lake vacation, then it may be nice if you go at the right time of year. Most restaurants in the area and closed and no longer in operation or just bar food.
The host provides kayaks and a fire pit but the algae was so dense that the smell of the lake was extremely difficult to take. I don’t know if that is normal or due to this time of year. We did not utilize any of these items because of this.
The apartment was okay and the kitchen is nicely stocked, a pair of someone’s old glasses were left in the bedroom. We were a bit confused by that.
There is no soap or shampoo for the shower so be sure to bring all required bathroom items you prefer. My boyfriend had a hard time sleeping due to the smell of smoke coming from neighbors and we lost power on the second night due to a bad storm, but these issues are not the owners fault!
The short of it is that this is a fine place to stay in Beaver Dam for a couple of nights. We did not meet the owners, but they were very friendly and provided the info we needed to access the place. Thank you Jason for your accommodations and friendly disposition.
