You can keep your shallow water boat at the small floating dock or use the various boat ramps close by to launch a bigger boat. The canal leads straight out to King's Bay and out to the Gulf for great fishing and scalloping. Fort Island Gulf beach and fishing pier is just 8 miles down the road as well.
