Villa with spectacular views - Pool house with outdoor kitchen and pizza oven

The outdoor kitchen area by the pool is fabulous, although we needed more shade in the unusual heatwave and the fridges were struggling to keep drinks cool. We weren’t contacted to see if we we had enough shade etc in the circumstances, which I would have expected. The pool is excellent, although a bit difficult to get in and out of without a handrail. Beautiful lounge and dining area to cool down in the hot nights. Property outside was very well kept.

The towels and bed linen had seen better days. We didn’t have anywhere near enough towels for the week. We were offered more towels ok (that were meant to be in the wardrobes) but we declined and bought our own as they weren’t good quality and too small. We weren’t able to watch the French World Cup matches, as the M6 free app needed a French email address to log in and wasn’t set up. We were all heavily bitten by mosquitoes, the bedrooms had no plug-in repellent which we’ve always had in other villas.

Everything about the villa, the location was beautiful. We all loved our stay and would like to return in the future.

There was nothing we didn't like

Das "Stonehouse" war außergewöhnlich gut eingerichtet. Alles war vorhanden. Sogar in 2 Küchen. Der Kontakt zum Eigentümer und Housekeeper war sehr gut. Wir waren mit unserer Familie hier Anfang November und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Von den 5 Doppelbetten stehen 2 in einem Zimmer und sind durch einen Vorhang getrennt. Das Klappsofa steht im Master Bedroom und ist noch mal bequem für die Personen 11 und 12. Die moderne Heizung hat bei nächtlichen Temperaturen von 10 Grad prima funktioniert. Man hätte im Pool schwimmen können. Gärtner und Poolkeeper waren für die Pflege da. Wir freuen uns, wenn Anne und Bjarne noch viele nette Gäste bekommen, die das Haus genießen können.

Die Auffahrt zum Haus ist eng. Für Van Größe noch ok. Kommt eher mit kleinen Autos. Unseren großen Camper Van haben wir draußen auf der Straße geparkt. 200 m weiter ist ein guter Gemeindeparkplatz.
