Ocean breeze

Quiet place. Hotels in the area seem to either be loud (entertainment, cleaning staff shouting in the corridors) or are located next to loud bars or traffic noise. This place, however, is facing an inner yard with a quiet pool and has no loud staff or disturbing entertainment. Not sure how well the walls insulate the noise, but it was perfectly quiet when I was staying here. The building may be dated, but the apartment has a modern-looking bathroom and all the required equipment, even a dishwasher. The host has kindly equiped the apartment with a detergent for the washing machine and the dishwasher, as well as a ton of small things like coffee pods (even decaf!), wine, q-tips etc. Generally great attention to details, compared to the bulk-managed rentals. The balcony is on the sunny side and includes comfy sun beds. The location is great, very close to a great Italian pizza kiosk, bus stop and Lidl within a short walk. Straightforward check-in, with the host meeting you at the door. I've had much more stressful experiences in this area with other rentals where it's a whole quest of back-and-forth messaging some automated system to receive a combination of codes and links to access the property. Here, however, it's all smooth.

The pool was cold when I was staying here (winter time).

The apartment was great. Clean, spacious, even had a few extras incase you forgot anything. Host was great, I turned up later than expected but it wasn’t a problem. Fully recommended.
