About this house rental
Casa del Milagro is an elegant beach front rental home near Puerto Peñasco, Mexico within easy driving distance of Phoenix or Tucson. Puerto Peñasco, also known as Rocky Point, is on the Sea of Cortez, a warm and protected place to play and enjoy beautiful white sand beaches and gentle surf. Perfect for kids and family gatherings, Casa del Milagro offers deluxe accommodations plus a beach that is safe and quiet for swimming, boogie boarding, volley ball, beach combing or just about anything.
Casa Del Milagro's Main house has four bedrooms and four bathrooms comfortably sleeping ten people. An adjoining, separate Casita has one bedroom with a king bed, and a bunk bed and a fold out sofa in the living area. There is one bath.
The Casita and Main house are rented together and the maximum occupancy is 14. See Rental Terms for more details.
Both units are well appointed with all conventional American conveniences. The beach front house features a large patio, built in barbeque, Margarita porch with expansive views, and an outdoor shower to rinse off sand.
The kitchen contains state-of-the-art range, refrigerator with ice maker, and dishwasher. There's a blender to make margaritas and a full compliment of pots, pans, dishes, glassware and a coffee maker. We've provided coffee fliters, spices, and pantry basics to make your stay comfortable.
The Great Room has a magnificent brick copula, working gas fireplace, and an entertainment center. The doors out to the patio provide a fabulous view of the pristine beach and the ocean is close at hand.
The master bedroom has an elegant king size bed with firm Swedish mattress, dedicated air conditioner, attached master bath, and a view of the ocean through French doors leading to the patio.
There are three other guest rooms, including one just off the patio with its own French door to the beach, another room at the end of the hall that offers more privacy as well as a hand painted armoire done by a local artisan. There's a comfortable queen size bed, a great rattan cushioned chair for relaxing, and an adjacent private bath. The forth bedroom features a queen bed and a bunk bed that offers a fun place for the kids to sleep.
One of the best amenities of Casa del Milagro is our cook service that is provided with your rental. Our cook Sonia is a master of Mexican cuisine. Just let her know your lunch and dinner preferences, and for how many people and leave the cooking to her. You can select from her menu choices. She will purchase food and supplies in town for you but please reimburse her when she arrives. If dinner includes a particularly expensive item, such as shrimp, or is for a lot of people, you may want to advance her some funds. She'll keep receipts so you can reconcile at the end of the day.

Firstly, Susan Rogers is a great host. She was always available to help us whenever we ran into problems. After that, a problem solution is only a text message away.
We loved the location AT the beach. Lovely large home! Kids had a lot of fun playing in the sand. We also had fun doing SUP on the Gulf of California's calm waters. Saw lots of Pelicans diving for fish and a pod of Dolphins jumping in the water, all sitting on the back patio.
Sonia used to bring us groceries and she even cooked to our dietary restrictions (we had to guide her).
Don't think twice about this place - just book it!
A few things to keep in mind:
1. Google maps shows wrong directions fo rthe last half mile. Don't make any right turns, just keep going straight.
2. If it rains, the road in last 12 miles can be a little slippery, but our minivan made by driving slowly (20 mph), so just allocate some extra time.
3. Some of the condiments (like Sugar) are in the pantry and that is locked so you'd have to either bring your own or wait until Sonia shows up.

We had an amazing stay. The house is absolutely beautiful right on the beach. Lots of space for 5 families. Everybody had their own bedroom and bathroom. The fire pit is what sold me on the place had enough room for all of us to sit around it, and enjoy the evening. having Sonia come to the house any night, we needed her was amazing. So just one more thing the drive out the house is at least 30 minutes, but for me that was OK to get away from all the people.

Spent a long weekend at this lovely home right on a beautiful sandy beach with our adult children. We never even left the house as Sonya brought us anything we needed from town every day and made us delicious guacamole, pico de gallo, and meals each day. It was the ultimate in relaxation! The owner was extremely helpful throughout the process. Our entire experience was wonderful!
