Welcome to the 'Mahina Hideaway', a premier beachfront condo on the gorgeous west shores of Maui, halfway between Lahaina/Kaanapali and Kapalua Resort areas. The Hale Mahina Beach Resort (a small private beachfront complex with only 52 units) is just minutes from Maui's best golf courses, shopping, dining, and the famous historic town of Lahaina. This direct oceanfront property is set among tropical gardens, a sandy beach, and a lush green lawn that overlooks the ocean.
Unit B305 at Hale Mahina has all new lighting, paint, ceiling fans, furniture, artwork, a spacious king-size bed, a comfortable sleeper sofa, quality bedding linens, and a 65" smart TV in the living room (there is also a smart TV in the bedroom). Enjoy the fully stocked gourmet kitchen with Sub-Zero and Fisher & Paykel appliances. There is an in-unit washer and dryer for your private use. This unit does not have AC (due to policy for the entire Hale Mahina complex); however, it does have several fans and nice ocean breezes.
You can access this third-floor unit by elevator or stairs. Being on the third floor, you have sweeping ocean views from the condo's lanai. During whale season, you can watch them swim and play offshore while sipping your morning coffee. In the evening, you can enjoy the famous West Maui sunsets. Fall asleep to the rustle of the palm trees and the sound of the waves gently lapping on the beach below. Take the Tommy Bahama beach chairs straight out front and sit near one of the local turtles sunning themselves on the beach.
Take a dip in the oceanside pool (closed for repairs in August 2026), soak in the hot tub, or relax on the provided lounge chairs on the oceanfront lawn. There is also a BBQ area for your enjoyment, complete with tables and benches. The condo is well stocked and has everything you may need for your Hawaiian vacation, including beach equipment, a fully equipped kitchen, BBQ tools, and more. For your entertainment, there is a large HDTV with streaming capabilities, and free WiFi is available.

The condo was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen was incredibly stocked with all the cookware, seasonings, oils everything needed. The view of the ocean was gorgeous there was all kinds of turtles swimming around. We would definitely stay there again.

Overall we had a nice time and definitely enjoyed the lawn/beach area, etc. In addition, the apartment itself was very nice, and as advertised - no complaints. However, we were rather disappointed at the fact that the neighbor's dog barked every night between 2a - 4a, waking us up. In addition, the road noise was pretty loud, especially when people on motorbikes drove by, and since there really aren't windows that close tightly, it was hard to block out the noice. Also, the refrigerator door locking for several minutes after each time you open it is kind of a nuisance - not sure if that's something you can change? Lastly, the property manager entered the apartment while we were in the bedroom getting dressed, which was a little awkward. Again, lovely waterfront area and apartment, but not sure we would rent it again, given the above. Thanks.
