Country Inn Cottages

A ways from Main St, but peaceful and cow-friendly. Texas-styling of room was really well done.

Bedspread wasn't for me. Grass thorn-infested, but that comes with the territory.

The location was wonderful with deer and livestock around to give you that great country feel. Love the rustic stone cottages with porches just to chill out on.

Pool was in process of cleaning so water was a little cloudy but still swimmable.

The land/view/property was absolutely beautiful. Loved the cows that roamed about grazing and the deer. Peaceful. Would definitely recommend to others and stay again.

The items to use for “dining in” were sparse. No plates, bowls, etc. to use in the microwave that was available. Would have also appreciated a few pieces of basic flatware. The coffee cups were very small - prefer mugs. The room/bed was very comfortable. Great shower and plenty of towels. There was a loud waterflow-type sound all night. It seemed to come from the A/C wall? It was a bit distracting. The A/C worked well and none of the plumbing seemed to be running. Not sure what that was - made it a little hard to sleep as soundly.

We loved the nature. Bed was comfy.

The advertised spa bath was actually not working, and the hot water wasn’t enough to fill half of the bath tub.
