Welcome to Lil Schatzi Haus, your private poolside escape just three blocks from Fredericksburg’s Main Street. This charming casita sleeps up to four guests and pairs a cozy studio with a backyard made for relaxing: a swimming pool with a built-in hot tub, loungers, string lights, and a covered outdoor kitchen.
Spend the afternoon poolside, stroll into town for dinner, and return for a relaxing soak beneath the lights. Whether you’re celebrating an anniversary, planning a wine weekend with friends, or simply taking a break, Lil Schatzi Haus makes it easy to settle in and unwind.
The Casita
The bright, open-concept studio includes two queen beds with fresh white linens, a TV, Wi-Fi, a ceiling fan, and a private full bathroom.
The kitchenette features a full-size refrigerator and freezer, microwave, sink, coffee maker, and countertop seating. An electric skillet, electric burner, and electric griddle give you convenient options for preparing meals during your stay.
Your Private Backyard Retreat
Sliding glass doors open onto a palm-lined backyard with exclusive use of the swimming pool, built-in hot tub, and comfortable loungers. Pool towels are provided, so you can pack light and settle into vacation mode.
The covered outdoor kitchen includes a gas grill and dining area for easy meals outdoors, while string lights set the scene for relaxed evenings.
Hot tub heating is included when the outdoor temperature is above 40°F. Optional swimming pool heating is available March through November for $175 per night. Pool heating requires advance notice and must be purchased for every night of your stay.
Privacy & Location
The casita sits behind the main house, which remains unoccupied throughout your reservation. You’ll have the entire backyard and pool area to yourselves.
Located in a quiet neighborhood just three blocks from Main Street, Lil Schatzi Haus puts Fredericksburg’s boutiques, bakeries, restaurants, wine bars, and tasting rooms within easy reach. Explore downtown and the National Museum of the Pacific War, or take a scenic drive to the wineries along Wine Road 290, Wildseed Farms, or Enchanted Rock.
For security, exterior cameras are located at the main house entrance and the gate along the side of the house.
Arrival & Parking
Enjoy easy self check-in beginning at 4:00 PM with your own casita keypad code. Access the casita through the backyard gate.
Parking is available for two cars in the main house driveway, with street parking available for two additional cars. Once you’re settled, leave the car and enjoy the short walk to Main Street.
Check-out is by 10:00 AM.
Bring Your Pets
Up to two pets are welcome for a $250 pet fee per stay. Please include your pets in your reservation.

• Smoking is prohibited anywhere on the property. Violations may result in a $500 fee.
• Keep the pool gate latched. No glass or diving in the pool area.
• A signed rental agreement is required before check-in.
• Exterior security cameras are located at the main house entrance and side gate.
• Routine pool service takes place midweek and typically lasts about 15 minutes.
