The property was really well equipped - for instance not just a dishwasher but also dishwasher tablets - with everything that made it a home from home. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the kitchen equipped with everything we could want. Everything looked and felt new. We particularly enjoyed the hot shower Parking was no problem, and we enjoyed a meal at the pub one evening.
The only thing I would change would be brighter overhead lights in bedrooms and dimmer bedside lamps.

Spacious flat. A very quiet flat, especially given it's over a pub! So - a very quick walk to a lovely country pub, very near to Buxton.
After we'd opened our suitcase out on the only flat surface in the main bedroom there were no other surfaces to put things on. A big room without enough furniture. Our friends in the second bedroom said there were no hooks to hang up dressing gowns, etc

The location was excellent above the local pub. Parking was very easy and the beds were very comfortable.
The kitchen and lounge facilities were excellent. The towels and bedding were also fantastic.
Unfortunately it looks like there is a big damp patch on the wall in the smaller bedroom and lounge which needs attention
There was only one toilet roll for three of us for a two night stay, and no shower gel or shampoo which you tend to get in most self catering accommodation. I think it would be better if the door at the bottom of the stairs locked as well as the outside door.
