The location is perfect. Accessible to the water, the restaurants, the ferry and yet a quiet street steps to the center. The apartment is lovely and renovated. And it is so well appointed either way silverware, cookware and SCISSORS!! We appreciated the plastic wash tub and drying rack for washing clothes.
Rooms are ample space and so nicely decorated. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. And to top it all, Francesca, our host was so incredibly thoughtful, responsive and went out of her way to accommodate our needs regarding restaurants, taxis… We LOVED everything about the apartment and our hostess which made our stay in this lovely town so enjoyable.

Fabulous little house in a very quiet street, but only a two minute walk to the main square or the promenade.
The place was spotlessly clean throughout. There was a well equipped kitchen, and a modern shower room. The bedroom was large, and had a very comfortable bed.
The lady owner, who lives nearby was charming, and very responsive to emails and phone calls.
I would have no hesitation on rebooking this property should I visit Stresa in the future.
Possibly a small sofa in the lounge/dining room would have been a nice addition.
