Welcome to the Müllerhaus at the Uttumer Mühle!
The Daike upstairs apartment offers a spacious 76 square meters of living space for up to 4 people. Here you’ll find a cozy living-dining area with two sofas, a TV, and a dining table. Adjacent to this, in the kitchenette, you’ll find a ceramic cooktop, oven, refrigerator, electric kettle, toaster, coffee maker, Senseo pod machine, and sink. Please note that there is no dishwasher or freezer compartment. The modernized bathroom features a walk-in shower, sink, and toilet. One of the bedrooms has a 1.40-meter double bed, while the other has two single beds, a free crib, and a wardrobe.
Free Wi-Fi is available! (We cannot guarantee unrestricted availability or sufficient speed.)
Dogs are welcome upon registration and for a separate fee. Fly screens are installed on the main windows.
The building’s shared laundry room features a washing machine and a coin-operated dryer available to guests staying in the apartments. In the common hallway, you’ll find a hair dryer, books, and a high chair. All guests are also welcome to use the garden and terrace belonging to the property.
Simple bicycles are available free of charge at the property (we do not guarantee their condition and assume no liability). Storage space with electrical outlets is also available for bicycles you bring with you. Ample parking is available.
The Müllerhaus in Uttum features a total of 5 cozy vacation apartments (Aletta, Bentje, Casjen, Daike, Eiske), which are perfect for larger groups or families and can be rented as a whole or in part. All apartments can be booked for stays as short as two nights during the summer months and are powered by green electricity from a solar panel system!
The mill located right next door can be rented for guest events. If you’re interested, we’d be happy to put you in touch.
Every year on Pentecost Monday, Krummhörn hosts Mill Day, in which the Uttum Mill traditionally participates!
On the way from Emden, just before Greetsiel, lies the small village of Uttum in the heart of East Frisia, in the municipality of Krummhörn. Greetsiel, with its numerous attractions—such as the twin mills and the picturesque fishing harbor—is just a few minutes’ drive away. The same applies to the seaport city of Emden, home to attractions such as the Kunsthalle, the museum ships moored around the Delft, and the Otto-Huus. The rural yet central and well-connected location makes it an ideal starting point for numerous excursions, whether on foot, by bike, or by car. But Uttum itself also offers several attractions, such as the church in the historic town center and the old brick kiln on the outskirts of town.
You are welcome to add a laundry package as an optional extra. This can be done during the booking process or at any time afterward for a fee.
