About this house rental
Gesine's Huuske, a wonderful vacation home in an idyllic location in the center of Eilsum
Here, you can still let your children play safely on the street...
The 100-square-meter house, featuring a large, fenced-in garden, has tiled floors on the first floor and includes a spacious living-dining area with a modern, fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, oven, microwave, glass-ceramic cooktop, toaster, blender, egg cooker, coffee maker, pod coffee machine, electric kettle, and much more). A table with 5 chairs is perfect for cozy family meals. The living area features a spacious leather couch and a comfortable armchair with a footstool for cozy evenings in front of the TV. From the living area, you can step out onto the large patio (furnished with a patio umbrella) overlooking the beautifully landscaped garden. The garden is completely fenced in (1.25 m high). A grill is available.
The modern bathroom on the first floor features a walk-in shower and comfortable heated floors; a hair dryer is also provided.
A washing machine and dryer are available for your use free of charge in the utility room. An ironing board and iron are also provided.
The upper floor has 3 bedrooms. All rooms have laminate flooring. The furniture highlights the original charm of the house, built in 1900, combined with modern accessories.
The master bedroom (double bed) can be darkened with exterior blinds. There is also a second TV here. Pleated blinds are installed in the other two bedrooms. The second bedroom has a single bed, and the third bedroom also has a single bed that can be extended into a double bed (1.80 m). A bright, inviting restroom with a sink is also located on the upper floor. From the hallway, you can access the spacious loggia, where you can enjoy the last rays of sunshine at the end of the day, with a magnificent view of the beautifully landscaped gardens.
In addition, there are several books, board games, a clothes rack, a radio, and fly screens (on the main windows).
A garden shed (3 m x 3 m) is available for storing bicycles you bring with you.
One dog (upon request) is welcome.

Outside of vacation periods, this accommodations are only available with a one-day gap between arrival and departure dates.
A lovely children’s playground and horseback riding opportunities are located in the immediate vicinity.
The nearest supermarket is about 3 km away.
At the highest point of the Warf in Eilsum, very close to your vacation home, stands the Eilsum Church, visible from afar. It is the only church in East Frisia with a choir tower. Lothar de Riese wrote: “For any art connoisseur, it’s well worth getting to know this imposing church—which to some may seem far too large for a farming village—and its 36-meter-high bell tower.”
Inside the church is a 500-year-old copper baptismal font as well as precious 13th-century frescoes—discovered only in the 1970s.
The village has a cozy barbecue area that anyone can use. Eilsum is also accessible via the East Frisian canal network through a boat dock.
It’s about 3 km from Eilsum to the beautiful fishing village of Greetsiel. Beautifully maintained and well-signposted bike paths invite you to enjoy varied bike tours throughout the entire Krummhörn region and the surrounding area.
