THE SPACE
New for 2024, this home has a backyard oasis-level pool, hot tub, and lounging area. Not all pools are created equal - check out our photos of this unbeatable back yard!
Enter at the side door into the kitchen, which opens to a dining area for 6 guests and family room with a large TV. From the dining area you can also access the screened in porch.
Bedrooms:
* King Suite - Upstairs suite with a king bed, TV, sitting area, dining table and access to the open deck. This suite has an adjoining bathroom with combination tub/shower.
* Queen Room - The Queen bedroom (sleeps 2) with TV, located on the first floor.
* Twins room - two twin beds, TV, and adjoins a shared bathroom with combination tub/shower.
There is also an outdoor shower to rinse of the sand from the day.
We are about a 3-minute walk to Gould’s Inlet located on the northern tip of East Beach. This is a prime location for bird watching, fishing and a great place for soaking in the sun.
Why Stay on East Beach:
The stretch of beach along the ocean side of St. Simons Island is known as East Beach. A quant neighborhood of single-family homes begins at the access point of the U.S. Coast Guard Station at the northern tip and ends at the southern point of Gould's Inlet by access of Bruce Drive, which runs down the center of East Beach. The Coast Guard Station houses the present home to the World War II Home Front Museum.

Beach Gear Included!: This home offers beach gear such as beach chairs and beach towels FREE for your use! Bikes, carts, paddleboards and more are available for rent locally, discount included. There are no fees or surcharges attached to your reservation.
Pets: This is not a pet friendly home.
Heated Pool: This property offers a heated pool option. The cost is $75/night+tax and can be added up to 48 hours before arrival. Let us know if you'd like to heat the pool!
No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.
Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend (last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.
No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.

Fabulous stay! we thoroughly enjoyed the backyard. Home was very clean and quaint - small inside but we were there to enjoy the outdoors. porches, backyard, and neighborhood were all wonderful.

Overall this is a cute place and a nice renovation, especially the upstairs master. The location is great and just a block to east beach. The kitchen was missing some basic things like potholders and a toaster. Our main complaint is that the house smelled incredibly musty/mildewy when we arrived. Because we have severe mold allergies in our family, we contacted the rental company and their response/concern (or lack thereof) was really disappointing.
