About this house rental
2212 Bruce Drive has just completed an extensive renovation. This lovely four bedroom, four and one-half bath home sits amid the oaks on the tip of East Beach, overlooking Gould's Inlet.
Its white wood sides, shady porches and architectural railings create an elegant, sophisticated setting for beach goers.
The first floor is devoted entirely to parking/storage and offers direct access to the private pool. There is a full bath at this level as well. All four bedrooms are located on the second floor along with 3 full bathrooms. The larger of the three bedrooms has a queen bed and the two smaller ones with a queen in one and twins in the other. The king master suite is down the hall and boasts a beautiful office space as well just off the bedroom.
The third level is all common living space with an overly large living room and dining area. The fully stocked casual style kitchen provides a great setting to interact with friends and family while preparing meals. There is a rooftop deck with amazing views!
Please note, the pictured spa is not operational for heating.
This home is located within .10 of a mile from the beach - it is almost directly oceanfront.

This property was great for our family vacation. This was our first time in St Simon and the location of the property was fantastic. Right at the beach and it was literally a .1 mile walk to the sand so that was great. The beach at low tide is massive with so much room to spread out from others which we loved. The interior of the property is nice and has been renovated. Views from the main living area where the kitchen living room are on were stunning. There is a captains nest on the top level leading to the rooftop patio which is great (was too hot for us to enjoy during our week). The one thing that we would have liked to have seen different for the property is the condition of the outside where the pool is. When we were there it was overgrown with weeds and impacted the usability of lounge chairs. Additionally the lounge chair cushions were old and not inviting. Overall would stay here again.

Everything was clean except the pool and spa. They were unusable when we arrived. It was raining the first full day so I contacted them and they sent someone out to clean it and fix the spa. The rooms, bathrooms and living space was very clean. The location and views of the ocean are great. Very nice place. Would stay again.

Hodnett Cooper was easy to work with and we loved staying on East Beach but this house needs some TLC. Walls need painting or at least cleaning, rug was stained, outdoor furniture especially pillows were old and ripped. Very little ocean view opposed to the write up of a panoramic view. The house has a very weird set- up. We were constantly going up and down the 3 levels. The convenience to the beach and the fact that it was pet friendly were the pluses.
