About this lodge
Thank you for checking out our special lodge! We would love to host your families.
******The price listed is for the entire main floor ******. It consists of: a Queen bedroom, a secondary bedroom that has 4-Queen beds that are bunked, a full bathroom, & a large open fully equipped kitchen/living/dining room. There is space to seat 16 comfortably at the table & counter.
********If additional sleeping space is needed, the 4 upstairs suites (each consisting of their own bathroom with a varied number of beds per room 2-5/suite) can be added for $200/nite each. Call me for details 507 269 6470
Our place accommodates lots of people with it's: 17 Queen Beds, 2 Full Beds, and 2 Kings
Suites are upstairs and quiet. Main Floor has in floor heat.
Lots of things to do in the area: Trout fishing in nearby streams or Bass, Walleye, Northern Pike, Panfish etc. in LaCrosse 23 miles away.
Watch the deer, turkeys, eagles, and coyotes as well as other wildlife meander out of the woods.
Hike at the Beaver Creek State Park.
We are close to a massive bike trail system that is paved and maintained from Houston to Lanesboro and soon to LaCrosse. While biking don't miss the pie shop in Whalen or the Old Barn for lunch to recharge!
Kayak/Canoe/Tube the Root River.

Adorable small town eateries & shopping- Houston Rushford Lanesboro.
Outback Ranch is across the valley and a is premier wedding venue and also hosts horse riding with miles of trails. Winter is fun too for couples or families. Snowmobile on the nearby state trails.

The house was awesome. Great decor! The property was beautiful. Nice space inside and out. Owners had great communication and very accommodating. Would definitely return if in the area.

The property is amazing. It is clean, comfortable, well-equipped (pots, pans, etc) and beautifully decorated. The host is welcoming and warmly responsive.

Top-notch communication. Property was the ideal fit for our family gathering of multiple families with space to be together and space to take breaks from the larger group. Beautiful part of southern Minnesota.

If you are looking for a property to hold a large amount of people, this place is perfect!! The owners were wonderful to work with and very accommodating and communicated great! We had a family gathering to celebrate a 90th birthday. We had an amazing time. Thank you!!
